Hi Lokie, I agree that lambskin is more quintessentially Chanel, but this caviar one became available while I was waiting for the lambskin. My SA told me that it’s hard to come by, and because it’s in the very fine texture of the caviar and without the edge stitching, it looks very close to the lambskin, so I got it 😊 I also love the champagne gold hardware. it’s my favourite classic flap 😃

Hi Sandra, thank you very much for watching my video😊 I got it in 2019 at our local Chanel boutique store. It’s in the soft caviar but without the edge stitching, looks very close to the ones made with the lambskin. I waited for a year for it, hopefully you won’t have to wait that long 😊

It is the 28 series, I bought it in 2019. I think you can still get navy or beige or gray throughout the year, Chanel just don't make many of them. if you ask your SA to keep an eye for you, it is possible to get it, I waited for a year to get the colour😊
@@vivaciousbev I believe it should be 19b, can you tell from the serial number or receipt? yeah, I have noticed that most of the caviar CF has the edge stitching, but the lambskin doesn't, but this one is in the caviar without the edge stitching, it looks like the lambskin from afar, really interesting😊
@@cindysfavouritethings yes you can tell from the receipt or tag. Actually that’s for the black and beige. Seasonal caviar doesn’t have edge stitching, but 19b navy did (they had edge and like yours). Am always curious since they come out with a navy but they vary! Beautiful bag tho hun
