yeah it like, finding your limitations and working on them gives you more awareness of whom you are as a person which means when you send love out you know where it's coming from......it's a battle with yourself in perpetual erosion.

None of those are followed at polish dojangs. When I started to tell one of our national champions about you and how you follow the code, she was surprised and said this is not possible in real life. In Poland there is no philosophy, people just learn martial arts to fight.
I am sorry to head that :( it is indeed possible and required as a marital artist. Maybe they are not doing ITF, so their philosophy might be different but all martial arts have a similar "code". What happened to Count? Now a Baron? :)
@@NoraTKD It's ITF, I checked. More I watch you, more you fascinate me. I mean, what you do and believe in is so pure.. stories of those peaceful warriors from ancient Asia come to mind. You blend words "warrior" and "empathy" into one and this is what amazes me. Yes, now I'm a Baron. I often change my names to satisfy my superiority complex :)
Nora, thank you for such a well done presentation. You inspire and humble me. I think of you as my Tae Kwon Do instructor.
You are welcome Lon! 😊Thank you for your kind words, I am honored🙏🏻
This works as really good life advice, thanks Nora
Thank you Simon. Yes indeed, I think that Genereal Choi has put this together as a manual for life in general not only for martial artists.

Great! :)
Hi Nora, at what age did you start Tae Kwon Do
I started ITF Taekwon-do when I was 12-13 years old. Before that I did Karate from age 7-8.
@@NoraTKD Which do you think is better for my kid to learn, Karate or Taekwondo. She has option to do either.
