SuperNatural Sonic AU: Learning to Laugh Again - Amy, Tails, and Cream (Flash Warning!)

- After an incident that occurred over 50 years ago, strange phenomena started popping up all over the world.
One such phenomenon is what Sonic and I call "Rewind Zones."
Typically, these places will appear as large grayed-out versions of normal locations.
Stranger still is the fact that the people there will go about their lives uninterrupted, but just before the day becomes the next, the entire area will rewind back to the start of that same day.
It's creepy, to say the least.
On the bright side, we're not affected by the rewind, and anything we do there doesn't seem to have lasting consequences.
Which means...All you can eat soft served ice cream.
A perfect place to treat the new kid.
Honestly, it's nice to see him so happy. He even managed to get a smile from Cream.
I wish these moments lasted longer, but we've got to save this world.
That's what the professor created us for.
Maybe then this world will truly learn to laugh again.

Very cute. Why do I have the feeling sonic showed this infinite ice cream glitch to amy when she was feeling down once? Seems like something he would do
I love Amy's description in this AU it feels gentle yet has some truth in it in a way and I love that it is a place that reminds time I feel it adds to the story as well

I am so incredibly late and I’m so incredibly sorry about that! Don’t know why, but I just haven’t been in the biggest commenting mood lately. Whatever the case, I’m here now and I’m gonna binge these masterpieces like it’s Netflix! (I don’t have Netflix)
1. This art, yet again, looks fantastic! The grayscale colors really make it feel eerie and empty, like it’s devoid of any real life or happiness. Meanwhile our crew are all decked out in colorful attire, shining bright amidst the gray. Gives a sense of hope and cheer.
2. BTW IS THIS A REFERENCE TO SONIC GENERATIONS OH MY GOD YOU’RE A GENIUS THIS IS THE COOLEST ON-THE-NOSE GAME REFERENCE YET (Next to Angel Island and Perfect Chaos lol)
3. So they were all created by Gerald… Hm. Well except for Tails, obviously. This may mean that everyone aside from Tails are Supernaturals to an extent, or have Supernatural DNA inside their blood, which gives them their super cool powers. This is obvious in Maria, but we just don’t know how or why she has those powers. This means Shadow likely wasn’t made with Black Arms DNA and is instead purely Supernatural, which would be such a cool concept! Though it does make me question how everyone has different abilities. May be just due to cartoon logic or because it depends on the individual because genes, but if you have an in-universe explanation that would be so cool! Anyhow, this explains why Tails “Doesn’t have an ability,” because he wasn’t made by Gerald and he likely doesn’t have much Supernatural DNA in his blood. The scientists were probably not as bold as Gerald to do such a thing.

5. I just realized, the stick Amy’s holding is the handle for her hammer, something made of rocks and magic. Obviously the hammer part is just a bunch of Supernatural magic.
Idk what else to say because I’m saving more commentary for later. Beautiful artwork as always! (And I can’t stop admiring your background art, it looks so natural! I DEMAND a tutorial! 😂)

(Also it’s implied shadow is dead but if he’s alive I wonder if he ended up turning into a monster like his doom morph or if he’s just kept locked away somewhere without Maria knowing)

Just discovered this channel, and I’m VERY curious about this whole AU. Like these Rewind Zones, they sound exactly like the places effected by the Time Eater? In this version of reality, are they not sent into White Space when they’re eaten? Was the Time Eater somehow involved in that old incident?
