Here’s what to do if it irritated your skin! ruclips.net/user/shorts_mt-2uKvtNc?feature=share
Where did you get the cream please?
Whatever you do, dont, DONT put tretinoin around your eye area
Not true . My dermatologist told me I can do this and its been working for me . Everyone skins is different. Stop telling ppl what to do with their skin . Worry about what your own skin can handle 🙄😒
And she is a PA for a dermatologist, she knows way more about tretinoin and how to use it than you do , im sure of it .
@@melaninmonroeeee "Stop telling people what to do with their skin" You're literally contradicting yourself by actually telling people to put tretinoin around their sensitive skin areas. All I was doing was warning them NOT TO. Tretinoin works under the skin. You'll see benefits to your eye area even if you don't apply it directly there. Don't give af about your "dermatologist" credentials when hundreds of studies, other dermatologists, and various medical professionals have warned against using it directly on your eye area. Especially when starting out. Even if you do get used to tretinoin, it's still not advisable to use it around the sensitive skin areas, like eye area, lip area, etc. There's no benefit doing so.
@@gime1945 lol , how did I contradict myself? You are sooo ignorant . Lol just rambling away and dont know wtf you are tlkn about , once again lmaoo. Like I said , there are plenty of us who do apply tretinoin to our orbital area and have great results from it. So worry about whether you should do it or not and let ppl figure out whats best for their face . Goodbyee
Why would she say this?
@@gime1945I mean it's their choice. everyone have different skin👀. I use that on my eye lash 🗿
You don’t do it around the eyes
Says who
Same I thought you don’t used it around the eyes. Skin is very thin and delicate in that area. Causes even more wrinkles in the long term. Says my dermatologist
@@chap07because it'll burn your eyes, I don't put any skin care products near my eyes
Wow! You explained everything in just a few seconds. I appreciate you so much!
Thought it wasn't supposed to touch your eyes the corners of your mouth and or the nose creases
That's what I've always read as well. Some people can have vision degradation due to Tret migrating too close to the eyes.
It’s not, it’ll cause massive irritation
It's not. Please don't listen to this lady.
omg the eyes i panicked
Very helpful thanks ❤
Omg I could never on my eyes! They are so sensitive.
On the eyelids??!
I am not getting any irritation or peeling while using tretinoin 0.025 for two days. should I go for 0.1?
The directions on the prescription box LITERALLY says avoid the eye area.
I would never put on eye lids! Is this even recommended? My Derm told me to avoid sensitive areas
Thanks for sharing
Can we use serum before apply it?
Hello, Should we use tretin after moisturizer or before moisturizer for the night?
If you're beginner, you can use the sandwich method where you apply a tiny layer of moisturizer before applying Tretinoin and after 30 mins, apply a thick moisturizer. It will reduce purging.
What were the products,names please?
Can we apply a bb cream daily if we are using retin a daily
Can we use this over the ordinary niacinamide and hyaluronic?
I was wondering the same thing
I think you should use this after afterwards, after applying tretinoin then waiting for 5-10 mins then apply it
You can but should not. Should do niacinamide in the morning, tretinoin in the evening, hyaluronic does basically nothing for your skin.
can you please list all the products you used in the video?
sure, here's everything I used except the last step which is of course tretinoin! you definitely don't need these specific products this is just an example regimen showing you the order, shopmy.us/collections/141253
@@AmyKoberling omg tysm 💕
Can u mention the name of the products u use in the am and pm and the steps pls tx
But my pea size amount covers only one third of my face☹️
Around the eyes?! 😮
Can I apply only on the spots??
Tretinoin isn’t recommended as a spot treatment! It’s efficacy comes from consistent use and only then can it prevent new acne lesions from forming
Never around your eyes
Is it totally OK use tretinoin on eyelids?
it increases risk of dry eyes. don't do it
nooo I got blepharitis
It can be done cautiously! But I never recommend applying directly to the eyelids, you can see I am just doing a swipe there at the very end when there is virtually no product left on my fingers
Not worth the risk of permanent dry eyes
@@AmyKoberling I doubt it because I remember not washing my hands after tretinoin application and just wiping it off with a tissue and yet the skin on my fingers became dry af after a few times so I doubt that it’s safe to literally use on your eyelids even if you think there’s nothing left
What moisturizer do you use?
I personally use a few in rotation. Usually skinfix, zerafite, Biossance or dr jart
I’m using salicylic acid 2.0 % cleansing is that okay?
If you are cleansing then it's okay , but don't use the serum @samruddhi
Does Tretinoin lighten skin?
it helps to even skin tone
Can we use it daily?
Yes! But you have to work your way up to daily usage. You can start with once a week for a couple of weeks and slowly increase frequency.
How would u apply tretion cream 5%?
0.5%? exactly the same way!
Once a week for how long..before increasing?
Will depend on your skin! I recommend increasing every 2 weeks as tolerated!
@@AmyKoberling Thank you very much
Morning and night?
Once a day! Usually night is best
Hi! Is using moisturizer first necessary or can it be used after as well?
Not necessary just helpful if you experience irritation! You can use after instead or as well!
@@AmyKoberling good to know thank you!
Hey Amy!plzz help me i am on tretinoin from past 7 months but i am not getting any results at all..what should i do to get results?my patience is giving up now😔
Whats ur am and pm routine, what strength and type of tret u using
@@calvinyt8429In the morning I firstly wash my face with cetaphil cleanser and use vit c,niacinamide and a hydrating moisturizer followed by spf and in the PM i cleanse my face and use tretinoin followed by a ceramide moisturizer
@@calvinyt8429 i am on 0.025 tretinoin..i have used tretinoin 2 years back and it gave me my dream skin..super smooth and glowing but i quit because of some reasons and 7 months back i started reusing it but this time i am not getting any results idk why
Stop vc and niacinamide. Let tret be the only star, get through the retinization phase first. I was like u i felt insecure if i didnt have all the star ingredients in my routine, after years of struggling i finally gave in and just use tret with a regular moisturizer and i got the most flawless skin i ever dreamt of. My routine aveeno daily lotion+korean spf, night cleanse and retacnyl,i started at 0.025now on 0.05nightly use.
@@calvinyt8429 Thanks❤ i'll follow your hack and will see if it works for me
She didn't do it correctly
Should I also apply moisturizer after tretinoin even with the barrier?
You can! It depends on what your skin needs. If you’re still feeling dry or irritated then yes!
Can I use the cerave retinol more often? I think it’s weaker than tret.
Yes you can I started off on that at 3 times a week then had no irritation as I did make sure to put a moisturiser on after but if you feel your skin to dry or flaky you can most definitely put a moisturiser on before your retinol/ tretnoin and even after as I do so that way your skin can get the benefit and no irritation and you can work your way up to daily if your skin is responding well and you will no if your skin needs more or less cream as you might not need it at all and cerave moisturiser is a great one or any other which no harsh chemicals will work and definitely 💯 use a sunscreen 😊
