Just hijacking this to tell y'all: The Trailer Music for D2 always tells us something about the Expansion. Beyond Light had a "Paint it Black" remix - The first time we really began wielding Darkness. The Witch Queen had "Cruel World", which is about not trusting anyone and relying on your self. The same Expansion in which we essentially learn not to trust the Traveller anymore. And now we have this one. About realizing the mistakes you've made and embracing the darkness within you, instead of supressing it. You can't tell me that's a coincedence.
likely not, given how planned destiny's story is there will likely be a BIIIIG surprise in lightfall especially since since this is sort of the first big confrontation between us and the witness in a LOOOONG time (and the fact we can see a huge space fight above what looks like EARTH in the game awards trailer)

I think Calus is going to send an attack force to earth and be repelled back by the guardians with the help of Rasputin supplying tactical direction and firepower. Our guardian is going to hitch a ride on one of Calus's retreating ships and end up at Neptune
