- The Navigator's Desk layout is a task that should be enjoyable, but don't rush it - give yourself time, rethink things when necessary, and create a good circuit diagram before starting.
We like the Brantz trips & rally clock, however we did use Monit (but it's difficult to change the calibration as your tyres wear down) on the London2CapeTown.

Thanks, really neat job.
Where did you get the power supply socket block fitted in the footwell?
Really nice job. What kind of clamps did you use to quickly mount the board to the holder?
Fasteners are either m6/m8 dome head bolts, or Dzus quick release quarter turn.
Have I answered the right question????

@@amazoncars Dear Rob, thanks for your quick reply. I mean the fastener that you show exactly at 4:52 of the video ;)
When you attach it, you push it over the head of the dome head bolt - exactly at 26:07.
Thank you. Regards Christian
@@katzenbar8250 Got it! "Dzus slide catch & bush" is what you're after.

Nice job. I had some problems with my Brantz timer freezing or not re-setting. Brantz say to connect direct to battery. Have you had any issues as yours appears to be wired through your 'navigational loom'.
Really sorry, somehow missed this message. I guess you're sorted now, but in brief: yes, the timers used to be susceptible to that problem; recently I reckon their production now has noise suppression on the power lines, and don't seem to have the problem.
So, on our old Brantz timer, we do indeed rig the power direct to the battery, making sure we shut down the Brantz when leaving the car for more than a few hours.
