Man, I just finished playing Hi-Fi Rush and this song playing in the last scene was something else. I didn't remember this song existed and it was one of the best rediscoveries of songs I've ever had. What an awesome game and what an incredible song.
I haven't felt the feeling the ending of hi fi rush gave me in so long. It felt like I had to take a moment to pause and reflect and take the whole game in. This game is such a rare gem. I hope that we get more games in this vein! Or even a series!

Dude I finished game and I was whoa like amazing then end credits started so did tears because it was so emotional I can't explain why. But havnt felt that from a game in long time
One thing I noticed is that Hi Fi Rush began with Lonely Boy - Black Keys, which is nod to Chai who likes running solo and then ends with Honestly, where it talks about friendship and being loved by friends, Chai at the end of the game loves his crew and his main inspiration
I remember when Zwan first hit the airwaves...I really wasn't sure what they were 'supposed' to be. A new project? Smashing Pumpkins part 2? And it seemed that as fast as the band arrived, they just as fast disappeared. It's sad they didn't last longer, they made some really great music with some solid sounds!
Just finished Hi-Fi Rush and all I can say that it is one of the many awesome games I have played so far this year... NO THE MOST AWESOME!... One of the many awesome.

I agree. It has so many good songs and the solo in Jesus I/ Mary Star of the Sea is amazing. I hate Billy hated Zwan but I don't know that he's really capable of being happy tbh.
There was a story, Billy said, that one band member was physically cheating with another member's significant other, and it was a drama filled fiasco, so the whole thing self destructed.
The worst thing about games coming early in a year is that they often then get forgotten tor get shadowed by a lesser games hype that is gonna come 2 months before the awards.
@@cloudshifter i dont think that’ll happen though, this game has literally marked itself in gaming history. Nothing comes close to this and i dont see other games beating it
I thought about this song today after 20 years. I remember they had the full album available to listen on their website. Love every single song and this one was my favorite!❤ Amazing memories.
This song consistently pops into my head. It's been well over 10 years now since I first heard it and I don't listen to it regularly but it still finds its way in there somehow. So catchy!
This song and "Judith" by A Perfect Circle is such a weird contrast because they are so different in style and mood. But they both absolutely rule and feature everyone's favourite bassist so I understand why people still watch/listen decades later.

Damn, I completely forgot about Zwan. I love it when I remember a band or song I forgot about years ago. It's almost like hearing music you already know your gonna like but get to experience hearing it for the first time again.
Corgan stated that he can no longer listen to Mary Star of the Sea, because to him it sounds like "thousands of lies upon lies upon lies. It's a shame because there's tons of music unreleased that will just sit in a box until I can stomach it." When asked which of his two former bands would ever reform, he said, "Pumpkins. You'll never see Zwan. I'll never go anywhere near those people. Ever. I mean, I detest them. You can put that in capital letters. Bad people. James and D'arcy are good people. They might be misguided people, but they're good people." *****It's weird to know this and see them having so much fun in these Zwan videos.

This was the first song I heard from Zwan and I always come back to it. Wish it was on streaming platforms but at the same time I like forgetting the song and thinking of it randomly and coming back to this music video. Something about Billy’s voice. I’m 19 and I wish I lived through this music.
Thats like saying its ok to still dig ian watkins lyrics n vocals from lost prophets, just forget his shenanigans just enjoy.......think before you type moron
Corgan's problem started when he teamed up with Sweeny, then Sweeny pulled in the vilest garbage to abort Corgan's wonderful expression. None of those people have ever made anything of themselves, because they're all trash. I hope Corgan tries again, but this time with music passionate adults, not drug/sex addicted trash.
Incredibly underrated, no doubt one of the best of his era. His style is impeccable... I hear a lot Billy Cobham influence in his playing. I remember he influenced by Jazz Fusion, but don’t remember him ever naming Billy Cobham.

Seriously we can't be hard on them! I mean when you can't easily grasp the concept that a person that's not a criminal or trying to take advantage of the system can easily just apply to come into the country "legally" like my parents did... we can't expect them to get the concept of contraception, morning after pill, or just keeping your legs closed either until you find a meaningful relationship that way you won't risk contracting and spreading diseases, or having to take the life of your own baby due to your own incredible lack of responsibility... incest and rape aside...
I remember buying the album Mary Star of the Sea when it came out and never realised the uncanny likeness the drummer has to British Comedian, Lee Mack 😂😂😂 Brilliant tune, good memories 👌🏻

From the first time I heard the guitar solo at the end, it reminds me of something from Brian May in the early Queen era or in smile. Beautiful song of zwan.
Wish this song was on Spotify so more people could enjoy it. I actually bought this on iTunes the day it came out. This belongs to that late stage 90's rock that is so so good. I feel like this song must have been written years earlier. Still enjoying in 2019.
Yes, however, Zwan is a totally different outlook/perspective on life than the Smashing Pumpkins. As much as the Pumpkins branch out sonically, they can't go this far. The Billy on this is not the same Billy who sang "emptiness is loneliness and loneliness is cleanliness and cleanliness is godliness and god is empty, just like me". Though today, with Oceania and Monuments, the Pumpkins seem to be gravitating towards that, you can't project ten years into the future. Therefore, the two are very different and should be compared, but not in the sense that Zwan somehow has to measure up to the Pumpkins in any way.
***** I think Billy's whole career has been dedicated to creating an unbroken narrative where he expresses as much about himself as he could. Looking back, Zwan was his effort of being more optimistic during one of the most cynical and suspicious eras of recent times in America. But Zwan, SP, or whatever, it's all tracking the musical and personal growth of one guy.
Billy was so IN LOVE with Paz. Look at the way they look at each other. Like two giddy schoolchildren in love. It must have broken his heart when what happened, happened.

Still listening in 2022. Such a happy song amongst the unhappiness of the band, but I still smile 😃
Wish this song was on Spotify so more people could enjoy it. I actually bought this on iTunes the day it came out. This belongs to that late stage 90's rock that is so so good. I feel like this song must have been written years earlier. Still enjoying in 2019.
This song kicks serious ass. Zwan is not SP and shouldn't be judged by SP's standards.
That's the thing though Billy is only one who wrote the lyrics and composition along with jimmy.
Just as good as SP albums IMO
Dhal-Sim Music I agree. best thing billy has done since machina
all intstruments are "playing" in this song, what a masterpiece.
Still listening 2018! This is a timeless group.
Billy was so IN LOVE with Paz. Look at the way they look at each other. Like two giddy schoolchildren in love. It must have broken his heart when what happened, happened.
Thank you, Tango
