This is the worlds modern day EUTOPIA. One of the most incredible placed on planet Earth. It took only one visit for my wife and I to be changed forever emotionally and spiritually. No other way to impart just how absolutely bloody mind blowing this part of Tasmania is.
We had the privilege of visiting this area recently. Words aren’t enough to describe the beauty of this unique part of the universe. Words can also not describe the sickening sight of this beautiful area being torn apart by the logging industry for short term monitory gain. Please as Bob says, prioritise visiting this area, appreciate the beauty and get behind those trying to save it from destruction. Tens of thousands of years of careful management of the area by those who came before us is systematically being destroyed for ever by short term greed.
I was lucky, to enjoy the tarkine for 20 days, alone with my packraft. Your book helped me a lot for the planing and the peoples there were really nice. There are less and less place like this one, thanks you for fighting for it.
Tremendously wise words from a great man. This wilderness deserves respect and full protection... especially now that Scumo has been voted in. The sad thing about Australia is that for every environmentally minded person there are 50 Aussie bogans who don't give a damn about natural beauty and would happily destroy these last great remaining wilderness area's.
I hope everyone gets on board, people power stop the Frankfort dam,we need the land owners of time to help aborigines they want a voice in Canberra, then this is there chance for a voice, please help, come on people email your government.
Most beautiful place I've ever been to. The smells, the feelings you get are bar none.

Great Places on Earth such as Takayna needs to be protected!
