Ryujin have this unique dance style that makes her stand out and blends well with Yeji and Chaeryeong. She said it herself that her moves wasn't big or powerful, she has good control in her body. She has her own colors. She's great at dancing the key movements, I always notice this, that there's some moves in their songs that she slays. She adds some adlibs and extra smooth movements. For example, in Not Shy, in the first line, Lia's line. She pops while doing the choreo, same goes for Wannabe, Yeji's line after her line. Ryujin found her own dance style and gives flavors into it. Let's add her facial expressions, she knows what kind of expression that will fit on the atmosphere.
I really like her dance style, I've never seen any k-pop idols in the industry who moves like her. I'm not saying she's the best dancer, but her moves is just so satisfying and relaxing. It's so smooth, precise, solid and well controlled. From her movements, facial expressions, aura, stage presence, everything. Ryujin is not just an idol, she's a genius performer.
Genius is right, it’s what I thought the first time, and every time since, that I watch this performance and this behind the scenes just solidifies it. Like that moment where the choreographer tells her to try doing the NO with her hands and mouth and she does it perfectly the first time!
It's really surprising how Ryujin isn't pressured (or doesn't submit to the pressure) to change her dance style and make it more "powerful" as other people think she's underdancing sometimes. I love her dance style so much. It's so satisfying to watch, doesn't feel like she's showing off (which really turns me off when watching). It feels like she's performing for herself and for the audience, to entertain us.

RYUJIN IS MY BIAS. She has such a strong weird charm, ever since I found out about Kpop, she's the only one who attracts me so much. Her visuals can attract both men and women, even though she's the lead dancer but her dancing skills are no different from the main dancer, her shoulder dance in wannabe went viral all over the world and made everyone crazy. Her sociable, gallant personality, someone who can be both cool and cute at the same time, always take care of the team members, cute memes about her are countless, what I love about her is her facial expressions when performing on stage, her stage presence is really top notch and is among the top among the current 4th gen girls. Since she joined Mixnine, everyone has recognized her, she held the 1st place from the beginning to the end of the show, That's why YG wanted to steal her from JYP, that's why she's the center of ITZY. Studio Choom is the place where she most clearly shows her dancing style, thank you for choosing her - the only lead dancer chosen up to now. She is gradually becoming the queen of the 4th generation, who holds a lot of proud personal achievements, hopefully her future with ITZY will shine more and be more successful, I'm proud of being a MIDZY.
I wont argue with you, because you have your own opinion here, but i have to say that you said that her dancing skills are no different from the main dancer is a little bit insulting to my bias in itzy chaeryeong. Ryujin certainly isnt a bad dancer, but there is reason why she isnt a Main Dancer. She got the Stage Present for that but for her dancing skills arent good enough to reach chaeryeong or Yeji. But in itzy, she's a lead dancer but when three of them dance together, you can see that she blends well. She's in between Yeji's powerful and precise moves and Chaeryeong's smooth and solid moves. If they dance all together, the cat line (yeji, ryujin and chae) you'll mistaken that there are three main dancers in ITZY. But like you said, it's you opinion. As a pro dancer, well before (I got injured so I quitted) Ryujin's dance style is unique, she gave flavor to her moves. Their respective Main Dancers sure have worked hard enough to earn their title. Itzy strengh for me is their dance, but even the Main Dancer of other groups that arent that much focused on dance can hold their own against Itzys Dance Line. For example (and yes now I am biased) Dreamcatchers (not sure if u know them) Main Dancer SuA. I would say their strengh are their Vocals, but SuA is still an Amazing Dancer and in my Opinion better then Ryujin, and can atleast be on the same level as the Itzy Main Dancers. To be fair she is the best dancer in Dreamcatcher with a large gap, but I believe Ryujin wouldnt be the Main Dancer in Dreamcatcher, because their Main Dancer is just better. Also to the point that Ryujin is the first Lead Dancer to get an AOTM. I think that Studio Choom isnt looking for the best Dancers in K-POP to be artist of the month (obviously every dancer that appeared is a great dancer) but rather for popular dancers.

I've seen many dance covers of this performance already. Still there's no one as clean as she dances. The more you watch others' cover, the more you 'll realize how graceful Ryujin is. She dances smartly, exactly knowing what the vibe of the song is. Ryujin is not just about chill, swaggy, sharp and confident moves. Her ability to embody the song separates her from others.

Yes I felt so sad too, wish I was her fan back on those days, because it seems like the struggle was real, I really do feel like JYPE mistreats her, glad she got the chance to show herself with Wannabe and her confidence has being growing back since then, hopefully next comeback we will have another Ryujin center song and I went them to give her a proper rap as well

Ryujin truly has a mind of an artist. Like I never expected that cheshire cat inspiration at all. She often thinks outside the box and uses her influence to inspire people. She really justified the A in AOTM.
If only many people would also watch this. Ryujin explained a bit about her performance; her base character (Cheshire Cat) and how she already knew some people wouldn't like it but still chose to perform this because she wants to show something new and she's just someone who doesn't care about your expectations.

Ryujin is special, for example when I first became a midzy I didn't like her at all, but over time, I realized that she is the most talented person and the most beautiful, like the rest of the members. The first time my bias was Yeji and it is still Yeji, but, I realized that my wrecker bias must be Ryujin, she is very beautiful, talented, and I am very proud of her, that she has come this far, a K-POP idol, she does a lot of work for us ... and we have to respect her in any situation, congratulations Ryujin, you deserve everything❤❤❤
