  • Baked rasgulla are just the right dessert for parties and festival.
    Baked rasgullas are slightly charred rasgulla baked with thick caramelized milk. It is a delicious modern twist to the classic spongy rasgulla.

    Ingredients
    • Milk - 500 ml
    • Brown Sugar - 4 tsp
    • Milk Powder - 1/2 Cup
    • Condensed Milk - 4 tbsp
    • Rasgulla - 6-7 pieces
    • Mix Dry Nuts - 2 tsp (For garnishing)
    Method:
    1. In a non-stick pan add milk and milk powder. Whisk it nicely to avoid lumps.
    2. Cook this mix on low heat with continuous stirring for about 3 mins.
    3. Once it start boiling add brown sugar, condensed milk and cardamom. Cook it with continuous stirring until it starts thickening. Keep the flame on low heat and cook it for about 5-7 mins.
    4. Once the syrup is ready turn off the flame and keep it aside.
    5. For best results use fresh and spongy rasgulla.
    6. To prepared baked rasgulla squeeze excess sugar syrup from the rasgulla and arrange them in a baking tray.
    7. Baking tray should be little deep so that milk will not overflow while baking.
    8. Pour prepared milk syrup onto rasgullas. Do not fill the baking dish till top.
    9. Sprinkle some brown sugar on top of rasgulla. It will give a very nice charred effect on rasgullas.
    10. Garnish with any nut and dry rose petals.
    11. Bake in preheated oven at 180 degree for about 20 to 25 mins.
    12. Serve it instantly or warm. For chilled rasgulla let it allow to cool down at room temperature then refrigerate it.
    13. Baked rasgullas are ready.
    14. It can be baked as a single serving for that bake them in ramekin bowl or small size aluminium cups.
