Well there are some new suggestions for my next visit - thanks! Out of these five, I only know Cisco and it became an instant favorite. We had taken a long walk around Fort Rodman and Victory Park when it began to rain. By the time we pulled up at Cisco, it was pouring and the barman came rushing to the entrance to hold the door open. It's also where I learned that some appetizers really are meant (and sized!) to be shared, which I'm not used to from Germany. The pulled chicken nachos were fantastic though 😄 Another restaurant that I really liked was the Airport Grille but they sadly went out of business, it seems. It also became a ritual to make at least one trip to BesTeas whenever I visit.
You’re welcome! I’m so glad to her you have 4 “new” places to check out the next time you’re in New Bedford. Thank you so much for watching and taking a moment to share your own Cisco love, visit memories and favorite area eateries!
Did you have a chance to visit the military museum in Fort Taber during your walk? It's an excellent museum, and free. I've lived my entire life on the peninsula next to Victory Park and Fort Taber, and I think it's the best area in the city. Hope you enjoyed your walk around the neighborhood.
@@eric3529 No, unfortunately, the museum was closed that day. It is still on my list though! The South End does look like a nice place for growing up indeed. It seemed to me like people take a lot of pride in their homes, going by how well-manicured the properties looked. Huge plus!
I went there once because I was in the area right yes I thought you yes I thought it was the black whale too expensive expensive for the meals and didn't have any thing I like sweet potatoes or fries
