90 deg. flipping mechanism

- The motor flips the yellow table thanks to chain and nut-screw drives. This mechanism is used in multi-purpose trolleys for satellite assembling.
Pink sliders, yellow table (connecting rod) and blue cranks create a slider-crank mechanism.
At the table horizontal position the center of pink slider revolution joint is lower than the center of the revolution joint between the table and the blue crank. So the table horizontal position is not the dead point.

This mechanism helped me in my design. Even though I modified a little bit by using torsion spring instead of motor to open. This slim profile is exactly what I was searching for. Thank you!
Thanks again, each of your videos deserves a "like".

Before switching positions, it's very important to check if someone on the night shift removed all the bolts; LOL.

Super work
Very nice sir
Is it possible to implement this system using one rotating rod that is situated in the middle of set-up? In that case, we would not need two rotating rods, implementing the same function. Instead, we could use a wider base that would be connected to the screwed rod to support the yellow platform. The main issue is that manufacturing such a mechanism with two parallel bars would require a very high precision. Also the motor would be connected straight with the single rod in the new case, so we would not need the chains.
Well... By having only one thread in the middle you decrease the rigidity and resistance to torsion forces the more outer you go, i think at least
Can I use this for a horizontal flip on top
for the screw bars can you replace those with hydraulics?
It's possible however, the hydraulic cylinders will make the mechanism too long.
When folded flat, like at 0:25. would it not be in a singularity? Seems like it would lock in this position. The blue link cannot be fully horizontal at when the yellow table is also horizontal.
At that moment (0:25) the force from the yellow rod applied to the blue crank is horizontal (does not go through the crank grounded pivot) and creates a torque to turn the crank.
@@thang010146 oh I see, the pivot axis are not inline. You are correct. thanks!
Nice job sir
Can this be considered to be a 4 bar linkage?
Can the brown slider and motor be replaced by an actuator?
thanks
No, it's a slider-crank mechanism.
Using linear actuators: possible, however, it makes the mechanism too long.
What dc motor is possible to do this
By which n from where is starting point.show it for coman wivers.i m not engier but interest in engineering.
Sorry, I don't understand your comment.
I want to draw some suspension but, I don't have a laptop or pc, it makes me have to search a litle similar app for my android on playstore.. Can any body helps me...,?
I just want to use this mechanism in hexagonal way so can you give me the idea
In hexagonal way?
Please explain.
how can i calculate the right proportions measures for yellow and blue linkage? is there an equation?
Pink sliders, yellow table (connecting rod) and blue cranks create a slider-crank mechanism.
So search the Internet for "slider crank mechanism calculation".
What program you are using
All videos in this channel are made in Autodesk Inventor, Dynamic Simulation.
can you make the mecanism of automatic fruit peeler please?
Give me the simplest one. I will try.

@@thang010146 thanks a lot Mr. Thang, i sent you a Mail 👍👍.
Wouldn’t it need something to give it the initial push
No, the rods are screw

can we give force analysis for this design.
I did not do it.
U not understand my comment where u put motor.
The motor is in beige color, on the right.
There are two chain sprockets fixed on the motor shaft.
How much weight it can lift
Several tons.
