Cole you are a fortunate man. You have a wonderful wife who likes to do the same things you do. I have been married to my wife for 59 years, and we don't like to do anything together. We even went on separate vacations for many years. She refuses to go fishing at all. She won't even eat them. I had my best vacations in Canada, on fly-in fishing trips. Of course, my wife refused to go, but they were very fine trips. From an old man of 79 years, enjoy life while you can. Things have a way of changing as the years progress. Stay safe and may God bless you both and any young ones you might have.
HEY Cole , Jay KINDA put a hurt on you in this episode 😂🤣, kidding, nice Crappie, dark 🕶️ Very nice spot to fish 🐟🐠 , great day, pretty out there, beautiful water and area , Love watching you guys catching those snakes🤣😂🤣🐍🐍 pretty that last One was a Big one, NICE, CYA SOON on your next video and HAVE A GREAT WEEK 🌈🌈😎
Trout, veggies and hot wife yes life is very good! 😂 You guys are awesome keep them coming food looks amazing as always! Love the trout video definitely want to give it a shot.
Nice trout. You and your biting snakes...makes my skin crawl ever time you play with them and they bite you. 😂 You the man! Looked good on the plate too. 🎣💯❤️👍
I Laughed So Hard When Jay Dropped Her Second Trout in the Water, then Your Mentioned "Putting Jay In Timeout" and Squeezing That Crap Out The Trout. So Many Funny Moments.
I enjoy fly fishing for trout especially during the green drake hatch here in Pennsylvania I can't wait until I graduate from college and then I can spend more time with my hobbies.
Absolutely! It took me a couple of extra semesters to get through college. I fished too much and wanted to take less hours a semester so I could have time to fish lol ( but we got the job done!)
What a variety of outstanding fishing opportunities you have "down" there. I have a friend who retired to someplace in Arkansas. I understand his decision. He also is a hunter. Loved your video once again. Jay makes me smile and/or giggle through the whole thing! Everytime! Something else which really enhances your presentation is Cole's knowledge and interest in so many of the creatures in your realm. All the extra recording of the insect life for example. It is a reminder for me how much my eyes were opened up when my daughters were at an age I could take them with me fishing, bow hunting etc. They noticed so many little things I tended to step over or not see. It opened my eyes to a whole new world. How I miss those days. But what great memories. God bless all here.
This is the second time I watched this. I was busy and couldn't get back to it till now. This year has been definitely a year for snakes. Went to the mailbox to get the mail when I got home from work about 11:00pm. Looked down and found a Night snake about 30 inches. Here's the kicker. They are venomous, but their venom doesn't effect humans. They have fangs in the back of their mouth. First time ever encountering a night snake. Those brown water snakes get huge!! One at Spring River was over 6 ft and a 7 footer from St.Francis river, were both biters. They have the disposition of serious water moccasins. Gorgeous snakes just the same.
We knew there should be some Further downstream in the warmer water. Was not expecting for her to hook up with one where we were at! We caught thousands of fish (mostly trout) from this spot over the years and that was the very first crappie lol
It was an awesome trip! The water in this river is often a bit more clear, but we definitely prefer when it is colored up like this! Thanks for watching!!
Way to go Jay! I've never caught a crappie in a river. When I was a kid last century, we walked the middle of creeks using fly rods and salmon eggs and caught native cutthroats they only ran to ten to twelve inches max. But they were delicious all we did was gut them roll them in seasoned flour and fry them. We ate everything but the heads. The minimum was 6" and ten fish per day. Great memories.
Your home on the water's edge is beautiful. My favorite fishing is trout fishing using spinner lures usually silver Mepps. Occasionally I will fly fish during salmon runs.. My favorite spots have been Ten Mile Lake in Oregon and just about any river in Germany where I was stationed for three years. At least once a month we had grilled, baked or deep fried trout with jalapeño cornbread and usually roasted asparagus. Your videos bring back great memories and are totally entertaining.
I loved catching trout below the dam in eureka springs in the summer they'd open the gates and you could see the fog from the cold water being released awesome
Cool and Jay I want you to know I'm from the Pacific Northwest and those are actually a nice size trout the rainbows can get up to about 25 lb if you get some really big old breeders but that was just a really nice size for a pen fried trial rolled a little bit of of flour salt pepper really want to kick it up take a slice of bacon and put it on the inside and some onion and touch of garlic and lemon and boy I'm telling you that is living in tall Cotton another thing that's real good on them is lemon pepper marinade you'll find out that's really good if you can pan frame some lemon pepper marinade salt pepper and get yourself some and butter you'll find out that's nice show I appreciate it 🤠😎🌺
Great video ya'll. Good job Jay on the trout catches. You are the slab queen they follow you wherever you go lol. Looked like a lot of fun. Love and Respect.
Love this video! Jay makes my day when she catches a fish. Just like you said jay,she was the trout whisperer at the river! Y’all be safe an keep these videos coming please.
Cool video. But i have caught crappie from trout streams before. I know of one stream that also has catfish in trout waters. But i do love trout fishing. God bless you both and baby C too....🙏❤🙏❤🙏🙂😊😀
That’s awesome! We have caught thousands of fish (mostly trout) from this stretch of the river over the years and this was the first crappie we had caught so it was a big surprise to us! Hope to catch some more soon!
I needed a Cole & Jay outdoor video today, right after getting home from enjoying the most beautiful day in a long time. Sunny 75° with a slight wind. It's been a long time, but me and a buddy of mine used to get our limit of Rainbows a short drive north of here. For their size they fought pretty hard, one thing for sure, they are delicious. Only thing, my fishing buddy was nowhere as pretty as yours Cole.
Glad you had an enjoyable day today and we appreciate you taking time out of it to watch our video! We love hitting up the trout waters during this hot time of the year. Maybe we will get some more fair weather here soon like you have!
Absolutely LOVED this one. That''s the biggest Midland I've ever seen, and seemed so docile (I seem to get bit nearly every time I pick them up!). Lol...
Great video and great unexpected crappie catch! Again, as a true sportsman should, you released the crappie since you two had more than enough fish to eat. Great example setters! Way to go you two! Love your channel.
Hi Cole and Jay, I am an old guy 79, your trout fishing trip in the Ozarks brought back some wonderful memories for me. My mom and dad retired to Salesville, AR in 1972 and I used to visit them quite a lot and we fished the White and North Fork of the White Rivers for Rainbow back in the 70's and 80's. Thank you for sharing your fishing trips with us/me. God Bless you guys, enjoy the heck out of life, it really goes fast.
Howdy Mr. Powell. We are the same age and seem to enjoy some of the same things. Fishing for one thing, and the enjoyment of watching these two young people enjoy life and each other. Cole you are one lucky man, to have a wonderful wife who likes the same things you do. My wife refuses to go fishing with me, and I absolutely cannot stand spending hours inside a store, which is her passion. We do not enjoy anything at all together. As you stated Mr. Powell, " life goes by fast."
Got a pretty snake to start the day. And bitten too. That last snake was a monster. Got some really nice fish. Fish came out looking real good. Was fun to watch. Great video
Cool video. I like Jay's hat. Sorry I haven't been making comments. I just got back from a fishing trip to Louisiana. It was great. It would be fun to fish with both of you. Keep up the great work.
Great video! Always surprised when folks don't de-bone their trout after cooking. Just hold by tail and set other end on plate. Bend slightly and boneless filet falls off. bend the other way and other filet falls off. You are holding the tail with all bones still connected. Flip over filets and skins peels right off. You have boneless, skinless filets on plate in 10-15 seconds. Works with baked or pan fried. Generally leaving the head on for cooking insures all bones are removed but it works either way!
Another great video. Would love to see more trout fishing. I used to fly fish for trout. But my health forced me to stop that. Now I target bass, or whatever I can get to bight. Last week I caught my PB largemouth so I am excited about that. I actually caught a PB a week and a half ago fishing with my son. Then 5 days later beat it by a pound and 4 ounces. SO that was cool. So it was a memory I will not forget. Thanks for the great videos. Love you guys.
Congrats on the new PB! It’s always fun to beat an old personal best! Bet you will catch an even bigger one that that soon! Fishing to us is all about creating lasting memories in the field. Thanks for sharing yours with us!

Was wondering when yall were gonna do another video for these. Love watching you two no matter the content. Thanks for the vid content and seeing yalls faces. Makes my day that much better.

Yes!! She was on fire! Thanks for watching!!
The absolute best thing about trout is the simplicity of cleaning and cooking them. Awesome video

Trout, veggies and hot wife yes life is very good! 😂 You guys are awesome keep them coming food looks amazing as always! Love the trout video definitely want to give it a shot.
We will keep after it! You definitely need to get out there and catch some)
My mouth is watering for some of those trout.
Trout and crappie are the two best fish to catch and eat. Jay was slaying them all.
All she needed was to smack a walleye and she would have had the trinity of delicious fish lol
@@COLE_and_JAY my favorite trout bait in small streams, is grubs from red wasp nest. Just make sure you're not in an artificial only area.
AWESOME JOB MISS JAY, YOU SMOKED EM. WEST TENNESSEE IN THE HOUSE 👍
Love it what a great day and a beautiful streem to fish . Great action !
I always have a fantastic time with you all.

Jay was slaying those trout! 2 really beautiful water snakes. Also the color of those spring fed streams is so spectacular! That aquamarine color!
