A little quick Mom hack: layer a few sheets with chucks or puppy pads between them for quick changes in the bassinet or crib, especially when you have a sick baby or blowouts in the future.

My husband is a firefighter and he does five 48 hour shifts a month. It’s definitely so hard doing it all on your own! So glad you were able to have some help while he was gone!

I’ve been a single parent pretty much majority of my sons life and it’s a lot harder than what people make it out to be. It breaks my heart when I see happy families because I know I could never have that but us single mums are beasts
Don’t be sad, be happy that these do exist, otherwise the world would be totally off balance. Honestly, no matter what I’ve been through, I don’t get jealous/envious, because I try to see the good in everything. I had such a great time mothering my child, albeit alone, yet it made our bond sooo much stronger and special. I hope that my son will grow up to be an honorable, good man like Josh! That’s my goal, no matter how I get there! Just appreciate and spread love in God‘s name everyone! ❤❤❤
Hey girly! On the Ariel carrier you can actually sinch in the area where sky’s bottom goes with adjustable buttons! Looks like you have it on the widest setting which is perfect for a toddler. Hope that’s helpful info! Lol this is my fav carrier with my littles

Skye is so precious! 🤍 But Please never leave your baby on a changing table without your hand on her. Even if she is a newborn she can still roll off the table. I worked in daycare in the infant room for several years in college and that was apart of our training.

It’s true. I actually fell off my changing table as a baby. I think I was fine other than a few bruises and a black eye. My mom keeps telling me that story, details got lost in the years, but cops were called by the neighbor because they thought my parents were beating me
You can tell she has a healthy relationship, I feel like most people get depressed. She just gave birth and has the most positive attitude about life. And being a new parent. Get your mental health in check before baring a child, it's not for the weak.

Only advice i have since I know you're in AZ and its still quite warm, try not to lay a blanket over her stroller. It actually traps heat and it will overheat her! I know that youre trying to keep the sun off her, indirect sunlight is ok 😊 you both are doing great as new parents! (I did the same thing, I also live in AZ and got the tip from another mom!)

It amazing to me how people are so surprised about the difficulty off being a single parent.. 😅💁🏼♀️ yes ofcourse it is hard, you only have 2 hands and a LOT TO DO. When you are alone in that ( like me 😇💁🏼♀️) it is overwhelming, stressful, ofcourse it is beautiful and we lovee LOVE our children, but with only 2 hands sometimes it is just simply to freaking much.. 😮💨😇 BUT we rock as single parents cause we are FREAKING DOING IT EVERY SINGLE DAY💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻❤️

Yesss going out to restaurants finding a place for the car seat or the stroller is challenging.
Birthday parties are the hardest things because you don’t know what to bring. My daughter wanted to nap so bad but wanted to be picked up. The carrier helped a little bit but man it was rough.
The amount of drool and spit up especially during teething is insane. I pack 3-5 outfits and I always forget to bring myself something extra because she spits up or drools on it. 😂 i look like a hot mess but she will stay looking cute. 😅

im a single mom to 3 babies 2 of the 3 kids r twins boy n girl that r 6 and my oldests girl is 10 and im also a mom in recovery almost 3 years and its hard but my kids saved my life and im so glad i have my babies

For one thing I'm not trying to hate but be very careful when you do put her on the changing table because we shall she's older she will learn to roll into rollover off of the changing table so be really careful with that but other than that you are a great parent
