    This is the ONLY course in crypto you will ever need to understand how bitcoin works. Amazing.

      Thank you! I bight the course Cultivate crypto referred from F&F not trying to diss on those guys. But it didn’t explain the level of detail to get the car out of the garage. Anyhow I took an “L” it was only $1000 bucks. The dudes aren’t the best speakers so it was tedious watching their tutorials. Their videos were scrambled all over the place and it was difficult seeing them in chronological order. Almost as if to make it more complex so you can depend on them for further subscriptions and not teaching the man to fish. Anyhow my fault no one else’s. Anyways I will look up this video to learn!!! It seems legit Thank you!

    LMFAO!!!
    I was very serious in thought. Then, suddenly a Snuggie shows up on the power point @55:44.
    That is a seriously funny easter egg and a notable way to end the section regarding "Merchants and Users" interaction. Never forget 55:44

    The address shared in this lecture has been sent approximately .766 btc since shared. As of 03/13/22 this amount of bitcoin is worth around $29,000. All sats have been swept from the wallet hopefully still kept somewhere safe rather than sold. Nice

    Regarding the key splitting... though this looks like an increase in security, in fact it actually decreases security because it drastically lowers the number of pk possibilities (from 2^256 to 2^128, many orders of magnitude smaller), meaning brute force attacks become more easily accomplished. In addition, dividing your key into two means that now you have twice the odds that an attacker can obtain one.

      Key splitting/sharing is a known technique in cryptography, As I remember (from sometime) it doesn't increase/decrease the complexity of a brute force attack (it is 2^128 performed twice for R,S+R instead of 2^256 in one number)
      It is designed to protect from loosing the plain key, not brute force attack

    Spending Bitcoin and other crypto is also possible via debit cards - that is converting it to fiat at ATMs or POS terminals.Here's a list of all Bitcoin debit card providers: coinvigilance.com/bitcoin-debit-cards-prepaid-visa-and-mastercard-comparison/

    Explain: S/D Bitcoins become available every second (1:15:00)?

    • @shymaaarafat1342
      @shymaaarafat1342 3 года назад

      It is just that the total available Supply for "D" secs is "S", so the average supply per second is "S/D" !

    Does BTC that a person has an investment and placed into Cold Storage factored into this calculation in Supply/Demand? Or to look at it another way, If I have BTC in Cold Storage how is a buyer know to reached me?

    • @alexjohnward
      @alexjohnward 6 лет назад +1

      cold stored is on the blockchain, but the key is not online.

    • @AdrianCockburn
      @AdrianCockburn 6 лет назад +1

      or to put it another way, the BTC is in the Blockchain, only the private key used to spend the BTC is in Cold Storage

      I'm not mainly interested in the economical part, but he did mention a "demand on deposit" expression
      I guess those coins u r not making them liquidly available to affect the current demand/supply in a certain market. However, they still have some effect..if the price is too high u may decide to sell them all of a sudden, u originally took them from the supply of a previous duration (maybe that's a trade-off point open for research, I'm not sure but again check the part where he talked about demand on deposit)
