Wood, Soto, and Crews would be a crazy outfield but I would really miss Jacob Young. He’s been one of the most entertaining players to watch on the Nats this year.
Great show today. I would bet Dylan Crews does not bat higher than 7th tonight. I was gonna say 6th, but the Nats are notorious for shielding their “debuters”. I do your like your 1-2-3 perma-lineup idea thou!
Based on what he's done in the minors I'm not as nearly high on Crews as you are. He gives me a Lane Thomas kind of vibe. I hope I'm wrong, but he's done NOTHING to change my mind to this point. I really don't see them signing Soto because he will probably resign with the Yankees or sign with the Dodgers because they have the money to maintain a good team around him. The Mets are a longshot IMO because their organization has failed repeatedly at buying a championship.
Soto only will sign with the Nats if he values playing with his brother a lot. His brother is probably 5 years away from having a chance at the MLB if he develops. He struggled in rookie ball as a 18yr old.
GREAT CALL ON CREWS AT 2!!! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
One of your better pods. Like your analysis of the Soto situation.
Thanks for listening!
Yep, his brother is in the Org. Still don’t thin k he’ll sign here
Id rather see them spend big money on the pitching staff personally.

I imagine soto would DH
@@austinmassey7764 True, that would make a lot more sense
I wouldn't want to have Soto's contract on the books for that long. There will be more affordable deals coming up.
You pay for greatness ,
I would because even when he gets older, he is gonna be a really good DH.
I'm signing Juan Soto for whatever money he wants

And they did it!
@@LockedOnNationals Ha! By the way, I wavered between 6th and 7th BEFORE I heard you do the same. #brilliantminds
Juan Soto is 3 HRs away from 200. Could he hit that in DC this week?🤔

Juan wants to win, he's definitely not signing with the Mets, he knows their history of failing 🙄
