Bro I did the same EXACT thing with all of my ds games when I was younger. I always bought a game and sold it when I was done to play another even though I had to sell like 6 in order to get one. I sold a lot of games that mean a lot to me and got barely anything back... But it's not even about the money anymore. You aren't alone bro

@@miladanki8380 Just do what i did. Have a homebrewed 3ds and get either roms to boot onto the ds, or if its even older like fire red n whatnot, get a GBA Emulator on the DS.
When you trade in some games and all you get is $14.50 but when you come back a week later they're all $20 each.

it's because there was Club penguin: Elite penguin force and it had more missions that were fun but CP:HR is all missions from the flash game.
In fact, I finished almost both of the games it's just herbert's revenge is not fun.
CP:EPF had more minigames that were fun but sadly CP:HR did not have any game that was fun. The games would be repetitive easily.
And by this, I think the timeline was in 2010-2012

I feel this pain on a personal level, except my dad helped me sell them online and when I told him they’re prices are going to be different and some may be worth a lot more than the flat rate $15 he wanted to put them up for individually. One guy came up and said straight to our faces “even if you had this at $60 I would have come” and then left. I still am pissed about that shit

This short footage perfectly sums up exactly what happened to me 10 years ago. I sold my precious Game boy Color, Game boy advance, Super Nintendo, and GameCube with some of the rarest hard to find valuable games for each console (including super smash melee, Zelda, super Mario rpg) all for $95 which i later used to buy textbooks for college. One of my biggest life regrets. This footage nailed it. Thanks for sharing

If this makes you feels better, I sold Pokemon White in 2016 (when the prices become higher) for only 4 dollars. The problem was the economy of my country, the used DS games at this point supposed to cost around 1-5dollars, one year later more people becomes collectors and destroys the 2nd hand world.

I never got to play through black and white, which is unfortunate because I became a collector, and I’ve been waiting so long to find black 2 I recently got my hands on a French copy of Pokémon black, and it was really good! I guess being bilingual came in handy lol. Also I never really fell for the GameStop trap, but I also didn’t really have many games growing up.

OH MY GOD I can relate. I traded Pokemon alpha sapphire, pokemon X, paper Mario color splash and others.... now I LIVE to regret it (lmao) ! Especially for pokemon sapphire damn I'm still searching it now 😭I'm born on 2006 so I sadly don't know the classics but it's still sad 😭
Alpha Sapphire and Pokémon X aren't expensive to get though. Nostalgia tax is on the DS games these days, 3DS is still at reasonable prices, Gameboy Advance cartridges (without box) seem to be about launch MSRP and the Gameboy/Gameboy Color cartridges (w/o box) are dirt cheap on eBay, even ones that (alledgedly) still save (though I'd replace the battery anyway before starting a new game, just to be safe).
*at least in Germany. Maybe it's a different story elsewhere in the western world, but I can't imagine why it would be drastically different.

Not to mention the card game and video games have been doing great for 25 year’s now while slowly gaining value each year. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet just set records for the amount of games sold in one week. Trust me, the market isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

This is why I wont shop at GameStop anymore. Its sad because I liked having a brick and mortar place dedicated to gaming but they’re just a bunch if crooks. If I sell games i do so on eBay, i buy most my games digitally except for a few that i want to collect their physical copies. What we need is a new store like GameStop but not crooks.

I lost my gameboy advanced and my pokemon games plus my yugioh cards i had in one ziplock bag while i was cleaning out my old room i used to share with my brother. 2 years later i broke my psp less than a year after owning it. i gave my psp games to my cousin because i thought I didn’t need them anymore. My mistakes haunt me everytime i think about it.
I made the mistake of selling my WiiU, games, and a controller all good condition, only to get $80 or $90 in store credit. That is probably the biggest regret I have out of my entire life.

Yeah, this definitely happened to me. But it was my dad, taking so many games that I enjoyed playing to GameStop and coming back with Brain Age: Wii Degree.
I enjoyed that too, but I don't think losing a dozen or more other games for that one was worth it, but I was less than 10 years old and didn't really have a say at that point.

when i was younger i sold my ds lite to a pawn shop, only got around £15 for it and it came with a rumble pack too.. luckily the games i sold werent the best but still regret selling it all.
