@@taylor....easily shortened huh. Seems you have probably never even seen a real aug. Also an aug with a 18-20 inch barrel is about the same length as a 10.5in mk18 with the stock collapsed. There would be no reason to shorten it because it’s already as small as an sbr with a barrel like a dmr.
@@jordanwiser4192the aug has one of the easiest barrels to switch out. its actually faster to switch to a barrel with a suppressor already mounted than it is to put a suppressor on the barrel

Yeah this gun is pretty fucking good IRL too. The 5.56 really needs some barrel length to reach its full potential and they managed to give it a long ass barrel while still being short and handy.

To be fair, the idea for bullpups, is "compact gun, long barrel", long barrel=more powderburn=more accuracy.
Kinda correct because a lot of forward weight could weight the barrel down too much

Its meant to reduce weight and recoil, so it's not wrong to say that, as both parameters decrease accuracy
The AUG-A1 doesn't have a selector switch to have 3 firing modes, the trigger on the aug is designed to function as one, if you pull half way the trigger it will fire in semi auto, when you pull it all the way back it will fire fully automatic
Maybe if the game just had semi and auto as settings, they could pass it as character doing different trigger pulls, as the click of a mouse tends to be pretty binary.
The binary trigger or whatever it was called was only on a couple models, other augd had just standard firing modes

It's kinda like the double barrel burst fire mode or Deutsch mg series with the trigger having two fire modes with the dB some have two triggers that could be fired at similar times but most of the time with both this and mg your character somehow makes a click just by moving their hands

No no, it‘s not designed like that to shift the weight to the back, that is counter productive for recoil. Bullpups are designed to increase the overall barrel length more efficient. The barrel starts at the shoulder, so you can have the same length as other assault rifles but a longer barrel.
its more comfortable to hold though because of the weight distribution. conventional assault rifles are very barrel heavy, making them "feel" heavier to ads over longer periods of time. thus indirectly increasing accuracy because your arms dont get tired so quickly. at least it feels like that for me. (AUG A1 with long barrel version is my service rifle.)
Any other assault rifle the same length would also be a bullpup.

Okay so the real definition of a Bullpup is a firearm wherein the action is located behind the trigger group. The magazine being behind the grip is only a result of it's design. If you could somehow create a firearm that has a rear mounted action but a front mounted magazine, that would still technically count as a Bullpup. The only reason why we haven't seen such a weapon is because it would be immensely overcomplicated and therefore unreliable.
Also, the real reason why the bullpup design came into existence is in order to accommodate a longer barrel in a more compact package compared to a traditional assault rifle. It does this by putting the action behind the trigger group, which leaves more space for the barrel to occupy. In a traditional rifle that space would typically only be occupied by parts like recoil springs. Of course, the bullpup design decreases the barrel length to overall length ratio, which means that it in theory can put out better accuracy and range given the same overall length. In practice, however, Bullpups often have less responsive triggers because of the design which connects the trigger group to the action, which somewhat stifles their practical accuracy. In a combat situation where you are more likely to use it for suppressive fire or close combat however, the difference is negligible. Other factors, such as length of pull, lack of adjustable stock length, and the ejection port position do prevent bullpups from becoming a mainstay in military forces however.
Bullpups aren't designed to move the weight to the back. Bullpups are designed to give you a longer barrel length with a shorter overall length. They do tend to have better accuracy in semi auto but can be a bit jumpy in full auto

its good if its all you have but the fixed scope , lack of nato suppressor and proprietary magazine really let it down
On boosted console servers i managed to find it in police stations! But if you find a customizable 5.56 weapon then the A3 isnt an option though its fun as heck and cool as hell!
Only thing I have against the thing is that it can’t take the standardized suppressor. Otherwise, I love it.

Bulpup means that the feeding mechanism is behind the triggergroup. This makes the barrel longer relatif to the lenght of the weapon. A rear-heavy weapons have more vertical recoil than horizontal and likes to pull up and to your shoulder side direction (when adsing on right shoulder, recoil will pull up and right). A front heavy weapon have more horizontal recoil and a lot of weapon sway if your not experienced with the rifles
Sway is inevitable. In my personal experience the trigger is the single biggest factor in shooting accurately. I can shoot my m1 garand which is 11.5 lbs with the bayonet more accurately than my brother’s tavor x95 purely for the significantly cleaner trigger break despite a massive weight and length difference. He even has the $300 geissele trigger upgrade.
The weight at the rear of the weapon does not, IRL, improve accuracy unless you have attachments at the front of the weapon. In fact the first time I shot a base level Tavor, the weight in the rear meant it was easy to "overswing" your target

While the weight being located in the rear is a design feature the actual reason is allowing a longer barrel while keeping a smaller overal length which is nice for a wide array of reasons

Fun fact: the AUG is friendly towards left hand users as the you can change the extractor and the ejector on the opposite side and you can change the blanking plate to the right side so the bullet casings fly out of the left hole.

Isn’t the IJ70 based on the makarov? I think there’s plenty of low tier weapons, but it’s literally easier to find the high tier ones, so you end up skipping low to mid tier weapons (at least in my case). They should change the spawn rates and locations so that guns like the sks, cr527, ssg, m16a2, are more common. If you hit the convoys on your way north (chernarus) or south (Livonia), you’ll likely have a famas, LAR, VSD, and a pair of NVGs and you can farm AUGs and ak101s in the bunker pretty easily 🫠
@@ConfidentMelon last time i played Dayz for a serious amount of time barely anyone ever had higher tier weapons unless they paid a boat load to another group of survivors, but then again modded servers be that way.
@@nightwolf7231 When I started, the most common loadout youd find was an AK74u and a tundra/mosin. I was so happy when I got my first LAR and AKM. Now, the best weapons are just too easy to find and stockpile; I raided a solo base with only two walls the other day and it had at least 15 VSDs and 8 LARs in it lol, plus like 10 75rd drum mags for the akm. The game is much more rewarding when you really have to earn the loot
The IJ-70 is basically the game's Makarov
in Mini DayZ 2 (made by Bohemia Interactive), the IJ-70 has a whopping 2/10 damage - Less than the spiked baseball bat.
They are rare. Also its a country with a high military presence.
I think I'm the game they should add a new mag type for the AUG and it should be the 42 Round, since they can also have 42 round mags.

there is another aug ingame that allows different attachments ingame its the AUR XS or something like that but it can take any nato 5.56 magazine ingame

A bullpup is when the action is located behind the firing ping. The p90 is also a bullpup but its magazine is on the top. Additionaly bullpups have the action happen behind the trigger so they can be more compact while having a normal barrel size

This is one of the best ARs for clearing small rooms and tight spaces. The shorter barrel makes it easier to maneuver and aim with.

As a marine veteran the bull pup design was made to introduce the standard barrel length with the bolt carrier group, ejection port,firing mechanism, and in turn magazine port, are behind the trigger mechanisms so that the rifle itself is shorter but the barrel length stays the same, making a more compact usually lighter, but depending on the company they do have certain draw backs such as ejection malfunctions with the desert tech MDR and so forth

It's designed like that not so the weight is in the rear of the gun (which would decrease accuracy because it would throw your aim off further when being hit with recoil from firing) its designed like that so that you can have the same length of barrel as a standard rifle in a more compact design allowing to more easily move through tight spaces and still hit things accurately at far ranges

IRL the aug is customizable to the point of being an smg, sniper and lmg in the same model

Also bull pups are notorious for crap triggers (because the trigger is really just connected to a bar, that extends to the actual firing pin/striker.. making them notoriously less accurate (because difficulty of keeping the rifle still while pulling the trigger, is increased) than a standard style rifle…

I've got a bullpup rifle. Its definitely nice having a long barrel in a short profile but it is unwieldy versus a traditional rifle. Good if you dont have to move and shoot.

Bullpup is meant for close quarters, and having the weight to the rear of the weapon does not decrease recoil, arguably it increases recoil, hence the foregrip. The more weight to the front of the weapon means less muzzle rise = lower recoil
I found one at a heli crash site, spent 20 hours looking for a mag. Got killed and found the mag within an hour but no gun.

A bulpup is designed to where the action is behind the trigger, not just the magazine, technically speaking the beret m82 is a bulpup, however the mag is in front of the trigger. It is not at all to improve accuracy, as me having shot a real one before, can say that they are not that accurate past 100 yards. It is instead done for compactness
