The Island of Ortigia was one of my favorite places to visit in Sicily. Thanks for the chance to see it again!

Nice job! You picked some great places to run on your trip! I am curious why you sped up the videos, though. The too-rapid movements (of people especially) seem unnatural and break the immersion. Do you have any plans of releasing normal speed videos of these jogs? And have you considered adding subtitles to provide some commentary? Regardless, great camerawork. How did you have it mounted?

Thanks for the helpful feedback, that totally makes sense… these are great ideas. Most of my runs are at normal speed… check out the latest one from Asheville for that.

@@VirtualTrailRunning Hi, the latest Asheville video (Beaver Lake) looks to be the correct speed, but is (currently) unfortunately only 1080p; are we still waiting for the 4K version to process? Anyway, I'd love to see natural speed + subtitles, particularly in the high density areas like cities. Ortigia is a perfect example; there's so much history in that place, and so much going on around you (compared to a rural trail run, which tends to have more gradual scenery changes). It would be great to slow the video back down so that we have time to look at stuff. Also, it would be really neat to hear (or read) your perspective on how it was to visit and jog through those areas, and your trips in general. I know it's a bit of work to add captions, but it could help increase your views and subscriptions, which in turn could make your trips and jogs more lucrative. :)
