If I go the other way, the answer we get will be 1600
Why, can't we use SP -CP thing in this ???
Like 110x+80₹- 95x = 20x

20x nahi le skte pr profit 95x pr h to 95x ka 20% =19x to le skte usse bahi answer aayega jo aapne solve kiya

Toh ap new sp se prev sp subtract karoge toh unka diff. 80 ana chahiye. Is hisab se apko question solve krna h.
20% profit to 2nd condition ke liye hai na to 2nd condition ke hisab se sp-cp =profit hoga or usi ka profit 19x hai
Sp-cp=profit
110x+80-95x = 95x of 20%
15x+80= 19x
X =20

CP:-100p and SP:-110p
5%less, so cp becomes 95p.
=> 95p*6/5 = 110p+80
=>114p - 110p = 80
=>4p=80
=>100p= 100*80/4 = 2000.

Answer : Rs. 2000
Solution:-
1st equation: CP= 10x. SP= 11x
2nd equation: CP= 9.5x * 6/5. SP= 11x+80
After solving the equation : 9.5x*6/5 = 11x+80, we get : x= 200.
Therefore, CP = 10*200= 2000

Do u know that in condition based problems question no.2, why sir has taken cost price of goods as 10x and 12x instead of 5x and 6x ( aisa mat kehna ki calculation easy karne ke liye kiya) .... maine 5x and 6x karke solve kiya answer 320 aa raha hai ....plz help me out timing 2:14:33
