I had several aha moments with thus video! The die-cut circles of the trees out of the two papers was great! The paper behind the sheer ribbon, another great idea! But the winner aha moment was the little wooden tree pressed into versamark and then glitter! Wow!!! Loved that!
These are wonderful cards, Kristie! It’s such a fun kit! I love the penguin slimline card! That has to be my favorite, but I love them all! By the way, I like your coordinating nail polish! 😉

when you first showed us the kit, I wasn't quite sure about it. However, now that you've made cards they're absolutely gorgeous. My favorite card is the 4 trees, I love the pink. Everyone is doing non-traditional; colors for the holidays this year and I think they're great. Beautiful cards as always. Elizabeth

Card #2 is stunning as is card #10. I’m drawn to blues. But the walrus wedding card is my absolute favorite and I smiled a big smile when you created it!! All the cards turned out so great! Okay...as usual, you have some great cards. I did have to chuckle with the "Walrus wedding" reference though. I thought was too cute. QUESTION...how do you decide WHICH card layout you're going to use for your cards? You mentioned that you specifically chose the layout for #8 based on the tree paper, but in general, I was curious as to how you decided which layout to use for other cards you make. I SOOO enjoy your videos where you talk...I know it's harder to do, but I love them. I would LOVE to see you make a video where you walk through from your thoughts to the final layout...deciding which layout to watching you change card dimensions to cut out to final layout. I know I would LOVE to see that. Edit...card #10 was probably my favorite!

All of the specialty cardstock I used in this video is from Love From Lizi. She offers Add On bundles of cardstock with every monthly kit. I believe the aqua color was just a small scrap I had leftover. I don't think it's available any longer. Tonic Studios does sell several lovely iridescent cardstock colors though.
Thank you! In this video, I was talking about the pearlescent cardstock Lizi offers as part of a cardstock bundle. For all my other videos, I use the shimmer cardstock I buy on Amazon.
The first two things I do when my kit arrives: iron all the ribbon and clean the sequins out. I take about 30 minutes and spread them out on paper or Kleenex and get rid of all those little centers. They drive me crazy! Time consuming but so worth it.

For me, postage is horrendously expensive from the UK to Western Australia so I can’t indulge myself with a Love From Lizi purchase very often. Kristie try using an unused dryer sheet with the sequins instead of the paper towel. Works amazing for the static.
Thanks for the tip. I've actually switched to a different sequin tray. Hopefully it won't be as staticky.
