    At 5:01 You have solved the egyptian DJED pillar conundrum. They were bouncing sunlight off mercury mirrors or had mercury bulbs. The far UV (purple) would have heated the pillar at a specific band on the column = matching the hot part on the human body...

    The polystyrene vs paper with brightener additive used to elucidate the UV lines of a mercury spectrum is especially well done.
    Minor correction - there's no luminol in glowsticks. They're various phenylanthracines and rhodamines.

    Thank you, that was very well explained! Would you do a video on UV-C sanitizing of PPE (Covid-19)? For instance: an 11W UVC fish tank sanitizing lamp, placed "x" inches away from a mask, needs to be exposed for how many minutes? And, there is probably a need to "flip" the mask over and expose that side to UVC too, correct? For example: an aluminum lined fish tank, with masks placed in it, with about 5 inches of distance from the UVC lamp. Would take 30 minutes (15 minutes each side or is the reflectivity from the Aluminum sufficient?)? Thanks again 😊

    Hello. Frequently asked questions about UV radiation and UVC radiation on the skin of the human body. "sunshine" Solaris. Made in the 80s. The exposition in 2006. Is it possible that it will be a habit of heat in the face, still red eyes and redness is a consequence? I had a lamp to steal about 1m from the face for about 25 minutes. Protected eyesight only when looking at eyes and eyes. I watch and blood circulation. varnish, heat, and heat build-up are a nuisance to eating. Is it possible that this is due to UVC burns, or will it be just a match of conditions and is it a hormonal or other matter? Am I a bright type, then, when it comes to DNA that could be changed? How much must be possible? Thank you very much for your answer.

    So tell me smarty pants why are we getting UVC readings at ground level now? What will the effects of the UVC light be on the algae growing in the oceans?

    • @isabelhughes8748
      @isabelhughes8748 6 лет назад

      curious observer that's bullshit. The ozone layer is at its thinnest at the poles and the UV readings are weakest at the poles. That data debunks the ozone theory. The weakening magnetic field could be the reason for elevated UV levels. The problem is UVC causes algae to mutate. Algae is an important part of our eco system and thought to be a key component in the oceans natural balance. I find it hard to believe his UVC readings at ground level given a simple plane of silicon glass can block it, that's why I asked for him to move a piece of glass in front of his sensor.

    • @isabelhughes8748
      @isabelhughes8748 6 лет назад

      curious observer the depleted ozone layer is being blamed for elevated UV readings even though it's been proven otherwise. I'm not sure what's so hard to understand there. The point in taking the UV-C readings behind glass is to try and weed out any foolery. It doesn't take much to block UV-C and silicon works very well. The point is if UV-C readings are more than zero at ground level then something is seriously wrong and it's not a depleted ozone layer.

    The word"Ultra" translates to "Beyond". Ultra Violet technically means "Beyond Violet" So the light is "Beyond" the Violet slice of the spectrum. Ultra Violet, once again, technically means any light beyond violet. We are referring to light so in the electro magnetic spectrum there is only a sliver of light beyond the violet before it turns to an energy other than light. Here we go into X-rays and Gamma rays.
    Now if you think about it light is just what we can see, the particles called photons but X-rays and Gamma Rays are particles as well but we cant see them so they are not light.
    I'm being very technical here...technically by referring to any of it as light limits our understanding of the whole electromagnetic spectrum.
    Wow, If I had a lab I could really stun some scientists. I will wait for that day.
    The very concept of optics is built around the eyes of humans. They are built specifically for the visible light. It is only "Visible" to human eyes. Optics are only an extension of Humans capabilities.

    So Mr. Lincoln, if you are seeing this in 2023...what would be the reason for purposely installing street lights with purple lighting around the world saying they shorted out and turned purple by the same manufacturer? Checkpoints to see what is in or on the human body for example? Hmmm?
