You are finding another me because I’m soooooooooo much older than you. Though I like you very much and your voice and guitar talent. So amazing I can listen to you all day
To an earlier question regarding the guitar, that is not a vintage Guild. In 2013 Guild made nearly exact reproductions of three historic Guild models, this being one of them. It is a Guild American Patriarch Aristocrat, probably from 2013. Guild is now part of Cordoba Music Group, and as far as I know there are plans to resume production of this model once the new Guild factory in Oxnard, CA is up and running.
This guitar was made in New Hartford, CT. USA Guild's are now made in a new plant in Oxnard, CA under the ownership of Cordoba Music Group. In the USA only acoustics are currently being produced, but eventually electrics will be made again as well.
Hey man if you're still learning how to play, a really good place to start is the CAGED system. It shows you how to actually utilize the scales by basing what you're playing around the chords. It's helped my lead out a lot. Good luck man!
I just can't understand why John wears such a plain outfit; His shows would be so much better if he dressed up like, say KISS, or someone like that///???
if you really listen you'll realize it's the bassist who played an unusual note there. That's why John looks at him. You'll see that the drummer also looks at him just before John does. Edit: that note was also not off-key, it actually sounded pretty cool.
That is the opposite of a wrong note.... it was the best note in the whole song lol... That's why they looked at each other (tritone substitution boys)
I can’t imagine playing on stage with John, starting a solo and him looking up and giving that ‘ oh fuck yeah do that man’ face to me. Goals
i love him ........... Period....
Absolutely love John Mayer he’s incredible guitarist and singer songwriter 🎼🎵🎶🎸
Love that Guild. Such a great guitar

He looks like my son...he also plays his songs LOVE LOVE LOVE
If this doesn’t increase sales of Guild guitars nothing will.
I love that he is so into the other guys lead that he just says, yeah do another one like that.

Hey I have to perform this live by myself. Can someone point me in the direction of how to possibly do that intro? I'm still fresh to thisz

I’m late but learn the pentatonic positions up the neck. There’s five positions. For this song learn A major, but they’re the same for every key
Zach Thomas the performance went great lol but appreciate it!
Love my Jonny
This guy's Talent is somehow High in the Stratosphere.
In this case it’s in the gibsonphere
@@harrisonkelly9964 it's actually guildsphere in this case
1:48 OMG...
We all know he's thinking of Katy when he plays this song.
I thought it was you by quick glance.
Lexi M Lmao first time I've been told that :P It's the glasses though, there's really no resemblence in real life :/.
Liar.
I'm serious I don't get that often if at all.
He wrote it before Katy though but maybe he does now
@uni You should upload a video of your son playing someday. :) That'd be great.
Zane Carney IN THE MUTHA FUCKIN HOUSE
unfortunately no zoom in on him..
Marry me, john.. Thank you.
What guitar is that ??
Ryan Baker thx man !! ;)
Guild vintage M-75 aristocraft
que raiva, não filmou quem tava solando, só filmou o John aff
You gotta give it to the soloist.
Well that's a lousy video...too bad she didn't realize that Mayer wasn't playing the solo.
Shut up and show some gratitude would ya
@@brentonchattin I don't think there's any reason to show thanks for this video.
I didnt know he played guilt too.
Too bad the videographer had no idea to follow the beatiful lead guitar solos played. Too gay watching JM gyrate his hips.😅

MARRY ME , JOHN. oh damn I'm a dude and not gay.... shit...
Solo in the wrong tone at 3:34 He looks at the bassist and neither one of them understands lol
Definitely not in the wrong tone.
where did you learn music ?
