Its sunnah to recite this before sleeping
But Indian uncles made it a habit of reciting after salatul isha

A small tafsir of part of verse 2 of surah mulk
(...so that He may test you as to which of you is better in deeds.... 67:2). It should be noted here that Allah did not say 'which of you does more deeds', but said 'which of you is better in deeds'. This indicates that it is not the quantity of actions that counts, but rather the quality of actions, that is, their being righteous and acceptable in the sight of Allah. That is why man's actions will not be counted on the Day of Judgment, but they will be weighed. In some instances, the weight of one action would be heavier than a thousand actions.
What is a Good Action?
Sayyidna Ibn ` Umar ؓ said that once the Holy Prophet ﷺ recited verse [ 2] and when he reached the words "better in deeds", he stopped and explained that 'better in deeds' is the person who abstains most from the things Allah has forbidden and is always ready to obey Him. [ Qurtubi ]

1:32 The way he reads this one ayah reminds me of that rare style Isha from January 2022; it matched how he raised his voice specifically at Ayah 178 in that recitation. Is it only me who hears it?

This recitation is Legendary.
There’s also another one from I’m not sure which year it’s from. It’s 9 minutes long and the end is Banjakah

He will have the hardest time choosing Surah insan as he (sheikh ) has great recitations of the Surah
It won't be hard. His Friday Fajrs will be saved for Following The Friday Sunnah so there won't be a lot to choose from.

@Unknown-xg9vy i disagree. Tajweed is the most important. And Imams like Sheikh Juhany, Shamsaan, Barhaji, Ahmed Hudaify, Ali Hudaify are examples of where tajweed is given great importance whilst they lead

No. In 1426, he moved to Masjid Al Dakheel. All his famous 1425 recitations were in Ibn Baz Masjid
@@zxedit simple masjid al dakheel the next year of his prime which is 1425 and in 1426 he moved to masjid al dakheel
