The reason someone is copying Gypsy’s story is because Gypsy is raking in money, hand over fist.
The government does this to make copy cats... they government make this happens. It's a huge Science experiment that's being done.. either way the afterlife is still there.. as a medium psychic people think they can get away with murder... they can't. The after life wants people to do time for what they did.
Politicians use this as well. Where was her family at in all this?

Gypsy rose is getting blamed for her abuse that was done to her. Where was her family at in the first place..

I was terrified of being viewed as having MBP/FD when my oldest child was a baby. I KNEW something was wrong, but the doctors kept saying I was just a "nervous new mom." I wasn't nervous, I was a nurse, and I knew my kid had something more than just reflux. Finally, a med student was doing her pediatric clinical rotation, and she actually listened to me. When she suggested some testing, our pediatrician agreed despite stating the results would be normal. They were not normal and showed a significant but manageable condition. I finally felt vindicated and not crazy.
Sad part is although I think Deedee took it to the extreme, Gypsy did have a mystery condition. Turned out it is a chromosome disorder that is likely inherited from her father. It is almost always genetic and her mother got tested but her loser father refused to. It will most likely impact all of his grandchildren too but he didn’t care to know. He can’t handle having a defect in the same way that Gypsy can’t own her own face and be cool with it. It seems like once Deedee’s mom died, she became obsessive over her kid since that was all she had left. Not to mention though I can’t confirm it. Supposedly she had a baby at one point but it was very premature and ended up dying. Once the chromosome disorder was pinpointed, the medical procedures decrease significantly.
What's sad is there are several cases of kids with legit problems where cps is called and Dr's think the family is harming the child and yet real cases of abuse don't get caught and turned in. We live in a crazy world.
And so when a real victim comes along nobody will believe that person.

There were so many red flags in that interview & for Dr. John to say "she's believable", made me doubt Dr. John's sensibilities. ;)
I left a comment on that video and the first two were gone the next time I looked. But the third one, I mentioned that my post was gone and asked if there was a reason. It's still there and I mentioned looking into this to them.
Yeah like what! As a nurse, I’m always so careful about what I say even as down to simple semantics so I dont give anyone the wrong idea and to protect myself as well.

I feel like DR. John sounded hesitant to say her mom had MSB, but didn’t want to discredit her on a live stream. Also, I think we are currently seeing the “Gypsy Rose effect” where people see her getting $$ from coming out of jail twisting her story and others are going to start going to social media to do the same. If that means twisting their story or outright lying, as long as no one is calling them out louder than their voice is, they are going to continue to make money.
That is why people who have a platform need to make sure to be very diligent in researching before platforming anyone. Yes, we want true victims to have their voice, but for others to become victimized of a scam at a liar’s expense is an injustice on its own.

I don't think that any doctor would be able to diagnose someone with MBP from an interview with the alleged victim. I believe they would need to do so with the parent who is causing the abuse.

Even if Dr John didn't buy into her story i don't think he's the type to expose someone during a live interview especially with such little information. He did qualify his statement by saying "at face value".

I'm pretty sure a doctor would need to interview both parties in order to come up with a diagnosis. In that video, he was talking with the alleded victim. He'd have to talk with the parent, too.

Not sure if you're aware, but Kate also shared her story on the channel called Unfiltered Stories not all that long ago. It'll be interesting to see if/ how the comments may shift if they've become aware of Kate being "exposed."
I recall people saying that Gypsy Rose was bullying this girl, but never looked into it. It just goes to show that not everything is what it seems.

They were and weren’t bullying her. What I mean is I believe they made a few comments about her leg after she tried to stir up stuff, but I don’t think they were instigating anything. I don’t like Gypsy, can’t stand her, but I don’t think she was bullying Kate. Kate pulled another creator into it and that creator tried to give benefit of the doubt but after hearing how unstable she is and when Kate did a flip flop once Gypsy gave her the attention she wanted, the creator realized Kate was not being honest. The. Kate gave multiple reasons as to why her leg was gone. However I believe she had ulcers on her foot and she agreed to have the leg removed.
Plus the guy did say, if you're not lying... But you seem believable...

Kate is very, very unstable. To the point where her daughter lives with her uncle instead because she can’t handle the chaos her mom causes. She supposedly has been in 3 marriages and divorces so far, targets only military men, and yells abuse when they get physical after she instigates the fights. Not to say those guys didn’t abuse her, but you also can’t yell victim when you’re constantly purposefully pushing someone to their breaking point. Both sides are at fault.

@jaimeharris4970 you can't diagnose someone without them being evaluated first. She may or may not have been abused, but asking a Dr to diagnose her mom without evaluating her is ridiculous. Also, no doctor would want to remove a 16 year olds foot/leg if it could be saved.

It's very hard to believe that Shriners Hospital for Children amputated a child's healthy leg (or even an unhealthy leg, unless it was life threatening and there was no other alternative).
Claiming that Shriner's did that was a HUGE red flag.
Shriners is one of the very best children's hospitals in the world; they actually specialize in amputations, and they pay literally everything, for both the child and the child's family. Such life-altering surgical decisions are made by a committee of specialists.
I'd have to see irrefutable PROOF, in the form of official records, before I'd ever believe it.
I'm not a big fan of suing, but if it's untrue, they need to sue to clear their good name.
It could be that this person struggled to get a diagnosis but still came out with her story. She should always caveat that there wasn't a diagnosis but the experiences are similar to GR. I'm going to look into this more and see what people have to say.
Update: watching the channel "Straight Out of Context" who did a 33 min video and seems to have followed this super closely..

I find this behavior absolutely disgusting. People like this have to be called out and given accountability. All they do is stain the actual victims of whatever they are lying about. I'm not a creator, however with serious issues like this I would have to get receipts etc before I put them on my platform. I know some people are easily offended, well they're just going to have to be offended because you HAVE to get those receipts. HOWEVER.. never ONCE have i EVERRRRR laid a finger on my Mom outta anger... (she done warned me.. she's the 1 that brought me into this world, & she could take me OUT of this world, JUST as EASY)

I discovered his story this afternoon, in fact. Naturally, I believed her! I swallowed it all: the hook, the line, the rod, everything.
But who would think that someone would be so unbalanced as to invent such a story?
As a disabled person myself (I suffer horrible pain every day, and I'm knocked out by opiates), this story particularly touched me.
So, seeing the number of videos asking pertinent questions about Kate, I'm stunned.
Kate would give custody of her own little girl to her mother!
Her mother would “restart” the MBP on her daughter, giving her insulin, which led the child to the emergency room.
Kate doesn't call the police.
And plenty of serious events to suggest that the whole truth hasn't been established, that there's something fishy going on.
And it's not just one video, it's a dozen.
Kate replies scornfully. Or doesn't.
What's going on?

I haven’t listened to rhis fully but I need to say something bc I am very forgetful there has only been a handful of these cases and all of them the mother has k.*lled the children for Kate and Gypse are still alive that’s weird and Kate has siblings and her mother as I know of has not k*lled any of her siblings either Dee Dee isn’t here to speak her truth and on top of that Gypse has that chromosone deletion and all of her problems were caused from it after they found out what she had in 2011 she never went back to the doc to my knowledge but the eye problems the small head the digestive system the feeding tube hyper sexual all comes from this disorder I can’t remember exactly what it was called but a few ppl on here do and they will tell you and here is another thing Dee Dee was never diagnosed with mbp anf Kate’s mom wasn’t to my knowledge when you get what Gypse was diagnosed with for sure go research it all oh her surgery’s were needed
