Thanks, I finally understand the Maddox rod test. However, when the rods are vertical, I see a rod and then a light. I cannot fuse the two images. When the test Is done horizontally I can sometimes imagine the light going through the rod but I am unsure. I had both eyes turning in with one eye looking up and the other down.
@@optometry-with-samir thanks my right eye is lower than my left and does now drift out. Does therapy work for someone over 66? I have worn prisms in the past but my doctor said it didn’t help. How much does this type of therapy cost?

in portion of maddox rod your interpretation is wrong if point source is up then it will be hyper and if it is down then hypo
If pt have Crossed Diplopia or Righ Eye Suppressed, then what is the next step for this?

I think you have vertical deviation. You should consult a Binocular Specialist
I am sure of that. But I am 67 does therapy work for someone my age?

@@annadavis2547 Vision Therapy can help at any age but at older age prognosis may slower and vision therepy costly procedure.
