Naga kings were not animals they were 100% original humans naga people's totem is snake I just hate😠 when someone makes naga as snake please correct it 😊
do not be so much biased. It is written in jataka tales. we can not change it. Its just a tale to enlighten the path. leave words and grab the ark/meaning of tale and move on.
You are speaking about the Naga Tribes, Naga ethnic groups? Actual people? I don't know if it is known entirely why some northeast Indians and upper Burmese started being called Naga. People of Assam assigned the name of Naga to a few isolated tribes, and then the British assigned this name to a much broader category of peoples. But predating this, is the mythological snakelike creature known as the Naga. It is the source of this second meaning... Naga peoples have only been known as such for some hundreds of years, where the myths of Naga serpent-beings in dharmic religions goes back thousands of years.
@@filthforce if you see ancient history than naga where community and they always represented themselves by snake that doesn't mean that they where humanoid snake. and all the naga community kings(naga raja) where the followers of Buddha and they always protected Buddha ex. When Asoka came in ramgram village to destroy original stupa of buddha and rebuild it then naga don't allow Asoka to destroy that stupa that's why there are so many statue of Buddha with snake and with stupa also. And today's most of the native Indians are naga like untouchables of Hinduism. Like my ancestors where untouchables caste called as "mahar" and these "mahar" people where ruled Maharashtra region and some other Indian region there empire was satavahana empire if you come to Maharashtra there are so many caves build by satavahana empire and that caves also have some naga kings that are represented by snakes, now I think you understand.h
