So angry... Honestly, for living in a major city, that's not bad. My apartment experience (Toronto) - I got my own bedroom, and shared a kitchen and bathroom barely bigger than yours with 2 other people, for slightly more money than you're paying for this place (since I'm imagining $700 USD). Oh, and no AC, usually lots of flies in Aug-Sept. So to get the exact same amount of total space for the same price and not have to share with anyone? I'd take that in a heartbeat!
@@adkh5826 obviously not, I’ve lived abroad for 2 years. But this is a substantial amount of complaining. Which is far from offering a balanced opinion while highlighting that as an expat - things will be different.
this is my tiny yet expensive apartment from the JET program -_-
The shelf above the toilet is the T.P storage.
Good video
Effin sht the intro gave me a heart attack! Middle of the night and I thought someone was outside my own door!!! 😅🤣
Im applying for jet this year. If I got in and lived there I would probably buy a sofa bed...

nice guitar hero
Did you just come to Japan to complain?
Not everything is flowers and roses when you move abroad. At least this is an honest assessment of the conditions for anyone looking to move to Japan

Everyone’s experience is different and everyone has the right to complain. This apartment is small dark and feels claustrophobic
That bed is not a futon, futon means it can fold into a sofa to sit and then open to sleep.
In western countries a futon means a sofa bed. In japan it is literally just a matress and a duvet.
