Thanks for this. I thought all was lost and this is a perfect fix! I don't mind putting the store back together, but I ran into some super issues were it wasn't even keeping my replaced shelves in place. At least now I can get back to the same level and licenses where I left off.
You would probably be alright, managed the modding. You could always just make a copy of the save first so if anything goes wrong you can just go back to the safe one.
I've not come across this issue myself, someone else mentioned it in the comments but never got back with any information. What level did you change your store to? And was that the only thing you altered?
@@wonhobubbles3544 That's a mod, it's called the better save mod. There will be a link to it in the description. It's not connected to just changing the save.

If you are meaning from someone else's video that is untrue. I don't watch anyone elses supermarket simulator videos. Aside from a little bit i've seen from creetativvez and nukaroach with whom i've had a connection with here on youtube. I tend not to watch other people play the games I am making for youtube so I don't spoil anything for myself ahead of my videos. I got the information that this was the best workaround from my comments section @Angel_Of_Horror had been in the discord and the community had decided that this was the best option going forward. So I thought I would share that information with my community because it may help them and for a lot of them this was their first time modding or editing a game so I thought a guide would be useful. If it's old news to you it may not be to them and if other videos are out there showing the same thing that doesn't suprise me because that's RUclips. The amount of people making videos far out weighs the topics so similar videos will always be made. They may patch this out one day but I can't see them altering the save files particularly. They are more focused on making content for the game. Rather than someone editing their save file.

I need to open a 3 app for it and idk how to do it when i got to the files
When you get to the file you need to open it with the notepad

Are you saving the notepad file after you have made your changes? And definitely changing the store level?
If I change my level it wouldn't let me buy items in the shop anymore. How do I fix this?

@tpgamingx12 I first set it to 200, but now I've changed it to 90 and it works fine
Yeah that was most likely because the level gets to 99 and then max. So 200 would be beyond the game. Glad you got it sorted 🙂

Should just open with the notepad if you are on the right file
