Both this trailer and the Dark Blood trailer are heavy lore and storyline. They are tied to what happened at the end of the Dark Moon :Blood Altar storyline and the new season Dark Moon; two moons. The girl in the Dark Blood concept film might be Sooha. In that concept trailer she bites them, taking back her powers. When she takes back her power they have a chance to become mortal again. This is where this comeback concept trailer picks up the story. In this storyline, Sunghoon gets a letter from what looks like Sooha, asking him to bring the boys to the Black Sea so they can gain mortal life. At first they are mortal again. They can dance in the sun, get hurt, dive in water, taste food and fall in love (all things shown in the colorful section of the film). But then Sunoo wakes up alone and sees Sooha banging on the upstairs window as if to warn him of danger. She is dressed in the red sweater from the other concept film. Suddenly another person is behind him but she is not dressed in the red sweater. She is wearing brown and looks very sinister. If you look carefully you can see Sooha still banging on the window in the background. So who is this girl? I believe she is Seleen, the person that Sooha was reincarnated from. Seleen is the original vampire/ moon Goddess who made the boys vampire lords in the first place. She tricked Sunghoon into bringing them to the Black Sea so she can turn them back into vampires. When she asked him to not doubt her even though she can’t remember their time together it’s because the time they remember is not with her but with Sooha. They say that Orange Blood is a lighter concept I believe because much of the music is from their human time of light love and laughter but the darkness is not far according to the end of the concept film.

Someone said this on twitter and it made me so sad. Apparently the lighter scene of the trailer show how happy the boys are since they are mortal now and can do what mortals can such as being under the sun, swim (heeseung and jake), get hurt (Jay), ride the car (jungwon), etc. But since they don’t have powers anymore, they couldn’t save sunoo. Heeseung who could’ve read Selen’s true motive, Jungwon could’ve gotten Sunoo out from the house since he had super speed, and Jake could’ve controlled the fire 😭 Plus Sunghoon regretting that he trusted Selen (who he thought was Sooha). And you could literally see Jay’s devastation and rage. They thought they are finally free and can be happy but no. This means only one thing which is having and not having powers have their own pros and cons.
The lore is slightly different in their MVs compared to the webtoon Dark Moon: The Blood Alter. I highly recommend you checking it out even if it is on your own time. &Team's lore also ties in with ENHYPEN's. Their webtoon is called Dark Moon: The Grey City. At lot of us are still a bit confused of certan things but this is my theory: In EHYPEN's last concept trailer remember the words at the beginning, "if you wish to escape from this twist of fate, remember these 2 words Bite Me". At the end of it Sooha bit Sunghoon and he disappeared into the air. I think wherever he went was to this new reality, where the boys are mortal again, but then again it could be a fake reality and meant to be a trap because of how dreamy everything looks. If you notice Sunghoon wasn't wet at the beach. He didn't come out of the water like the other guys did. I also noticed him throughout the trailer just standing back a bit and watching. I feel like he knows something more, because he is skeptic of this girl which is most likely Selen (Sooha's past self). Selen sent a reincarnation of herself and ENHYPEN, her knights, into the future to protect them). However now she seems to have captured Sooha, and is trying to take all her powers back from the boys. I'm not sure if she is jealous, or if something truly happened to her. There is so much to know, and it all is a bit confusing still, but we should know more as soon the next webtoon starts Dark Moon: Two Moons.
