    Nice job. But if it goes to 1k per dollar, your main money will be 100m if u invested in dollar while your main money will be 50m if u invest in naira.
    After the one yr, your main money would have depreciated by half if u invested in naira.

    Nick, Please i have 2 questions: how long IS One expected to collect interest invested on FGN Bonds before the capital is returned to the person? Secondly, Can the money be rolled over after It reaches maturity?

    • @NickFinanceNaija
      @NickFinanceNaija 2 года назад +2

      Hey Blessing. You collect interest until the maturity. E.g. if the maturity is 2025, you collect till 2025.
      You can’t roll over automatically. You will get the principal back when it matures and you can choose to invest in another bond again if you wish.

    Inflation Reduces the Value of Your Long-Term Bonds.
    So the reason for investing in bonds is negated... you'll loose at the end of the day because the value of your money is worth less by the end of that 10 years
