I just do my best to be a good person, which you already are! Not suggesting that you shouldn't explore, nor commenting on your journey except to say that I'm glad that it has given you peace. It’s about relationship, do not have good expectations only. A journey with Christ is difficult it’s not easy but give yourself grace. Take your time God is patient and so should you be. Honestly, I was tempted to skip through your section discussing God. I grew up Christian but became an atheist as an adult. Leaving the church has been one of the best decisions in my life. If I were still in the church, I would live a completely different life than I do right now. I would not have the freedoms that I do now. I listened to your thoughts regardless because everyone should evaluate it for themselves. If this does shift the direction of your channel, I will see myself out, but, ultimately, this channel is more than just WIEIAD videos; it's about you and your life and thoughts. At the depths of my anorexia, i lost so much hair as well and cried for hours. Julia, i have been a follower of yours from what seems like the beginning and i have loved watching your journey of being human over the course of this time (as well as your cooking!). I have a background of complex trauma and parallel to you, i have been on my own journey of development. As someone with complex trauma, I have worked hard in this area and am now studying to become a psychedelic assisted therapist. As an atheist, i have never explored the spiritual side of myself and my relationship with the universe at large, but more recently and through my studies, i have come to see that this is an area of my life that needs exploring and which feels empty and i want to fill that space with something. Figuring out what that looks like and what spirituality means to me and i am so looking forward to hearing about your pathway through this too, albeit in perhaps different ways. Thank you for being brave enough to show this very vulnerable and authentic part of yourself, you deserve this healing and i am proud of you.

Julia you have a beautiful and pure soul and I love watching your journey. I know you've been through a lot and I have always kept you in my prayers. God is my anchor. When the whole world is going crazy he's my one constant. I learned that while I can trust people I can't put my trust in them because people are failable but God is not. He's I AM. Jehovah Jireh which means the Lord who provides. He Has so many names in the bible of who he wants to be to us. I wrote about this at rooted in unwavering love, my website. How God wires in a secure attachment to him through the refiners fire. I grew up in a Christian home but went through foster care during the first 7 years of my life which caused a lot of issues. I didn't really care to know much of God tell I turned 24, 12 years ago. Over the years he has given me much peace, healing and rest. A relationship with Jesus and the father who loves me and their love that heals me and makes me a better person is what I'm for vs religiosity and legality. Much love and hugs to you Julia.
I feel like I’m in the same position with my religion as you but started from the opposite place. I was raised Christian but started having problems with the church, and now I’m understanding that I can have a relationship with God/the Universe without a label attached. I think there’s truth in so many religions, and if you’re interested, I’d recommend reading Autobiography of a Yogi. It ties Hinduism with Christianity in such a smooth and effortless way, which really has made me question what other religions we can learn from in order to spread more love and understand God more :)

Just think of them similar to water…Liquid, Steam, & ice - all the same element but have different functions in their different forms. I wish you all the Best! God is a being, we refer to 'him' as male just so its easier to talk about God, however God is neighter male nor female. We are all made in his image and likenss so we all look like God. its even hard for practicing Christians to understand. Then there is the trinity. With God being at the top and head, then the son, Jesus, who came to earth and dies for our sins, he was man. and then there is the spirit or sometimes referred to as the holy ghost. The holy spirit came after Jesus was crucified. If you have any question, make a video about it! ill be happy to answer them in the comments, and I'm sure others know things to! Love ya girl!

Oh girl! Since I started watching your videos I’ve had the pull of commenting that Jesus loves you and that God designed you for love. Unfortunately, we humans try and find it in other ways. Only when we give our life to Jesus will we be fulfilled 💯. The Bible is all about God’s love and the gift of Jesus for humanity. Start reading the gospel of John and may the HS be ever present each time you’re reading. I’m reading through the One Year Bible and it’s the first time I will ever read through it from beginning to end. It’s chronological and it’s such a precious, precious time every single time I read.

Cortisol is a hormone, the stress hormone and it can 100% $%/k you up! Remember there's 80 something books in the Bible. Several books were never full recovered. Lots is missing and a lot of it was very losely translated because by the time these books were discovered no one spoke the language they were written in. My sister. You remember. We are spirits having a human experience NOT humans having a spiritual experience. God is whatever you need God to be in the moment. Right now it's reading the Bible, on your hike it was the air and nature, sometimes it's delicious food, time alone, beautiful smells. I also don't believe there's some set of rules we have to follow to hang out with some dude in a town in the sky. That's a punch line for a fairy-tale not how im gonna live my life, ya know? I think we should all strive to be good people, to help our neighbors when we can, to be kind and respectful and i think so long as we do that our souls will continue to exude light.
I relate to this way of thought, thank you so much for sharing! Jesus even says the most important commandments are to love God and to love your neighbour as yourself. I've always felt a deep connect to "worship" with dance, prayer, nature, yoga, meditation and I've always tried my best to spread acceptance and kindness. This book is magical but we have to remember when these things were written

Is this channel intending to becoming more bible/god forward? While theres a crowd for it (not me), im here for the food content. I dont think the two always need to be intertwined. Sometimes not everything explored needs to be shared.
I have to agree... I have been watching her videos for a couple of years now as inspiration for recipes, food ideas, etc. I loved also seeing the traveling and cultural aspects of her videos, as it shows a different perspective on things. But spiritual/religious aspects....eh. not my vibe.
As a creator I've always talked about God, the universe, divine energy etc... I understand that people hear "the bible" and they just automatically think of this "classic" christian person that praises the Lord and lives in this fake perfect way. And I 100% get it, I was like that 4-5 months ago. But I'll offer this perspective... The bible is a powerful book that has influenced so many religions to be what they are today. Jesus is no different than Buddha in the sense that they are people trying to teach people how to live happier lives. The bible and it's teachings have just been capitalized and manipulated so heavily that most people hate the idea of it. But if you actually read the book you see how much helpful information is in it. It's basically like a "medieval self help book" ( I say that with the most respect possible ). So if you read a lot of self help books ( most people do ) then why not read one of the oldest ones? So many spiritual self help books now a days are written by people that have barely gone through anything hard in their life, from America and did some research as a journalist to then write a book because they can make money that way. So yea, I see reading this book as gaining a deeper understanding to the world around and the ability to soak up some of the most ancient teachings we have in writing as humans Much love and respect to you all💛

I really like your energy and food content from the little I "know" of you from a screen. If it gets to a point where I find I don't want to hear about the Bible then I'll gladly exit. I appreciate your explanation of your interest in it, but you do have to consider all sides, especially religious trauma. For example, I was raised in a cult and lost a brother to suicide who was heavily involved in religious teachings. So yea, naturally I don't want to be "educated" on reading the Bible and what it can offer considering what I've been through. Obviously you wouldn't have any way of knowing that, I just felt like your reply was like ' "give it a chance".It's a book like any other, I just don't want to eat and sleep it the way others do. I also never proclaimed to perceive you as like a "Christian girly", I don't automatically assume Christianity when I hear the Bible or anything else associated with it. Nothing wrong with reading it, just consider your audience. You're very young still and it's great to keep learning more about yourself. There is such thing as a ‘spirit of religion’ which is a demonic mindset people in the church adopt. Christian’s have a bad rap for judging others and using the Bible to manipulate other people. I know so many people who have had a bad experience in the church and I can see why you don’t want to hear anything about it. I just want to let you know that Julia’s channel is about Julia. Her experiences, her cooking. She very bravely is inviting people into her life. She doesn’t have to do this, share the content that she does, but she does it to help and connect with people from all over the world. I would encourage you to keep watching her channel even though she may dive into Christian topics, if you don’t like it skip through the parts you don’t like, but don’t X her out because she has a perspective you don’t agree with. I've always felt a deep connect to "worship" with dance, prayer, nature, yoga, meditation and I've always tried my best to spread acceptance and kindness. This book is magical but we have to remember when these things were written

Hi Julia, I am so glad that your curiosity guided you toward spiritual path. I genuinely recommend you to search for Islam. There are many misconceptions and bias. But sincerely your doubts will be vanished once you get to know Islam. Don't forget that people should judge Muslims not Islam itself. It is God's religion and Islam itself is just perfect. Is this channel intending to becoming more bible/god forward? While theres a crowd for it (not me), im here for the food content. I dont think the two always need to be intertwined. Sometimes not everything explored needs to be shared.
I have to agree... I have been watching her videos for a couple of years now as inspiration for recipes, food ideas, etc. I loved also seeing the traveling and cultural aspects of her videos, as it shows a different perspective on things. But spiritual/religious aspects....eh. not my vibe.

As a creator I've always talked about God, the universe, divine energy etc... I understand that people hear "the bible" and they just automatically think of this "classic" christian person that praises the Lord and lives in this fake perfect way. And I 100% get it, I was like that 4-5 months ago.
But I'll offer this perspective... The bible is a powerful book that has influenced so many religions to be what they are today. Jesus is no different than Buddha in the sense that they are people trying to teach people how to live happier lives. The bible and it's teachings have just been capitalized and manipulated so heavily that most people hate the idea of it. But if you actually read the book you see how much helpful information is in it. It's basically like a "medieval self help book" ( I say that with the most respect possible ).
So if you read a lot of self help books ( most people do ) then why not read one of the oldest ones? So many spiritual self help books now a days are written by people that have barely gone through anything hard in their life, from America and did some research as a journalist to then write a book because they can make money that way.
So yea, I see reading this book as gaining a deeper understanding to the world around and the ability to soak up some of the most ancient teachings we have in writing as humans

I really like your energy and food content from the little I "know" of you from a screen. If it gets to a point where I find I don't want to hear about the Bible then I'll gladly exit. I appreciate your explanation of your interest in it, but you do have to consider all sides, especially religious trauma. For example, I was raised in a cult and lost a brother to suicide who was heavily involved in religious
teachings. So yea, naturally I don't want to be "educated" on reading the Bible and what it can offer considering what I've been through. Obviously you wouldn't have any way of knowing that, I just felt like your reply was like '
"give it a chance".It's a book like any other, I just don't want to eat and sleep it the way others do. I also never proclaimed to perceive you as like a "Christian girly", I don't automatically assume Christianity when I hear the Bible or anything else associated with it. Nothing wrong with reading it, just consider your audience. You're very young still and it's great to keep learning more about yourself. There is such thing as a ‘spirit of religion’ which is a demonic mindset people in the church adopt. Christian’s have a bad rap for judging others and using the Bible to manipulate other people. I know so many people who have had a bad experience in the church and I can see why you don’t want to hear anything about it. I just want to let you know that Julia’s channel is about Julia. Her experiences, her cooking. She very bravely is inviting people into her life. She doesn’t have to do this, share the content that she does, but she does it to help and connect with people from all over the world. I would encourage you to keep watching her channel even though she may dive into Christian topics, if you don’t like it skip through the parts you don’t like, but don’t X her out because she has a perspective you don’t agree with. I’m saying this out of love 💗
