I think as a Mecha Masume she's one of the better made kits ive seen as the actual Mesume part of it herself is concerned. The body parts and clothing seemed to have fit together very well and looked nice overall. The face looked pretty great also.
I have all 4 buster dolls and I have to say they're some of my favorites. They all put together really well and aren't loose anywhere. Only thing I wish they did was have like accessory packs (not the MSG stuff, like their own specific stuff) like the 30MS line does so you could customize them more. Can't wait for the alternate colors to come out. I hope there are more buster dolls in the future after those as well.
Originally I was only going to get the tank and ended up getting all 4 of them. Theyre all so great. The tank definitely is my favorite and I bought 2 of it because I couldn’t decide on a pose.
What I don't really like about these kits is the look of the unused hardpoints, they make the kit look incomplete. Koto should provide caps to plug up any unused 'holes'.
my only issue with kotobukiya mecha girls is the lack of parts to make a 2nd body...they should copy what 3rd party mecha models that most have 2 bodies...you are left with aton of parts with only key missing pieces to make another body
I like the Concept, BUT.... the hip/skirt hinge transition just looks bizzarre to me. ?Maybe better if the skirt was a separate overlaying clothing part, not a replacement for the hip structure? So it'd look like clothing being worn, not cloth sprouting out of her body. But the whole line is doing it that way, so I guess they won't be changing that...
It's how hip design and articulation works, the thigh parts are great clipping points without skirt falling off or tucked the navel in. Unlike for example Revoltech Nowa (from Queen's Blade) has a separate skirt that overlays but it becomes loose when the leg articulation goes up unless secured by a single revo-part clipping the back on the hip.
One thing I have to say is that the dark version of the Buster Dolls are really cool and more appealing to me.
I totally agree with this comments 👍
🤩 Can't wait to add the Knight to my Megami collection! 🛡️
She's cute, if only I haven't blew up my money for kill team...
She looks like a 12 year old
They're certainly not cheap, and Koto keeps on releasing variants.
Yeah... they're great kits but I definitely don't have the money to consistently buy them all.
@@joshuamcchristian5365 and ?
@@joshuamcchristian5365 nah, she's around 8 months old if you look at her release date

The stand with multiple hard-points do remind me of a standard 1/144 HG runner-less stand with 3mm hard-points on both its feet.
the Buster Doll series has that strong LBX/Danball Senki feel with their designs.
You nailed it right on the head. I can't unsee Achilles chan on this kit. heheh
I really love this series. Waiting to assemble buster doll midnight fang.
I like the little armored high-heel boots, but I'm more partial to the Gunner model, so it's a bit of a tossup between which of the two I like more...
Did someone know what her skin color code was?

Included with the kits would be nice! They do sell MSG sets that include various cap parts. You could also just use pieces of the runner 👍

I wanna see buster doll tank review

I would love to enjoy my Buster doll PLD, but some how kotous is taking forever to ship it to me
😬 I’ve heard that KotoUS is possibly having some issues. Have you checked in with them? You do know that they are not officially Kotobukiya, right?
@@ZakuAurelius yeah I've been mailing them a lot and missing my preorder by months now
@ sometimes it takes a while for expected stock to arrive. It happens at USAGS as well. So I’m not sure the reason. But I hope you get it solved soon!
