I like the old Ford radio system better too. I hate how in my dad's 2014 F350, it doesn't respond half the time I press the buttons. That 5.4 Tritan is a great engine after you get around the spark plug issues they had in the earlier days. I don't understand why they didn't keep that engine or have the 5.0 as an option.
@ That's the name of the engine used in the 2014-older Expeditions. There was also a 10-cyl version of the Tritan that was used in Ford F250-350 trucks from 1997-2019, and that v10 was extended to the class-4 and up for the 2017 model year. Hope that helped you.
I agree with you, but the LTZ Tahoe and Suburban (which is the equivalent of the limited) of that year has Blind Spot Monitoring, which is a feature I like a lot!!
Wished Ford put the 5.0 in the expedition when it came in the F-150. It's basically the same underpinning. Ford and GM do mind scratching things such as the explorer for 11 got automatic windows on both front windows but the top of the line Expedition didn't, even the 04 Armada had that option. Chevy with the solid rear end, still even though IRS is far superior to what this vehicle is used for and doesn't sacrifice towing as the Toyota, Nissan and Ford have IRS and there tow ratings are higher. And so on and so on. If they looked at what works with the competition and then add their spice then it would make a good vehicle even better.
