Absolutely gorgeous art!!! Thank you so much, I learned a lot. Also, just a personal observation: usually we all know that higher contrast attracts attention, so we use it on faces or other parts that we want people to focus on. But during this video, especially at 8:08 I noticed that there's lower contrast on Asa's eyes compared to the previous version, and it actually makes you look there for a longer period and try to spot the details. It also adds ambiguity and even some sort of uncanniness. Loved it.
