I am so glad I found your channel. I don't particularly like "ghost" stories but ever since listening to "Friday When It Rains" (which I suggest you add to your collection if possible) I find that some are not too bad. I really like this one and am unsure if the element is ghostly or if there is something else going on but I like it so much that I have listened to it about 6 or 8 times already. For one, the narrator's voice is so soothing to me that it puts me right to sleep, however, I have been able to listen to the story from beginning to end. But that was during the day...lol

That’s great you found the channel, Jai! So happy to have you here. Unfortunately the story you suggested is not in the public domain so I won’t be able to tackle it. But plenty of non-spooky stuff to come as well soon!

That is just so clever how you layered the videos; this one looks as though the sea is coming in on the sand. The angle of tide coming in is just perfectly aligned to the stayed image. It’s really subtle but intrigues! If your someone who notices things, you realize your images actually have some nuanced movements. Really smart! Thank you! 🎉📖📚💙

Thank you Bia. It shows the exact line I believe that the story references: the Riviera from Genoa to Nizza. I think that these lovely images were used as advertising material in the early 1900s!

If this is what life is like on the railways, the Tory government should accede to the recent pay demands of the rail unions; I'm sending a link to the current transport minister.
    That should settle things.

This chap is supposed to be from the Black Country near Birmingham. Was it beyond the capacity of the producers to find a narrator with an appropriate accent? This fellow sounds more West Country. Very disappointed.

Hi Jude. Benjamin is described as turning his face northward and going over to the Black Country indicating he is not from there. As “Chadleigh” is a fictional place but Chudleigh is in the West Country it made sense to orient the character there.
This is a one-man band channel. I am the narrator, editor, producer et al

Tired narrative, great narrating. Overall, 2.5 out of 5 stars. Seems like the author had some gilt, wanted others to feel gilt the author thought was needed to protect the aristocracy, or had a fantasy to be so coveted the hand of God would need to intervene. Narcissist much? This story is drivel, again, narration is on point.

I listened to this for over 28 minutes before I finally realized that I had listened to it in it’s entirety a couple of weeks ago.… I feel so stupid… videos used to be underlined in red when they had been listened to; but for some reason this time, this was not.
