    Chicken was superb thanks. I found the potatoes and onions all tasted a bit the same as the chicken so might leave them out next time. Thanks for the vid.

    Does the heat. Maintain having it open 3 times - that would be my concern but that looks amazing, so easy chuck it in the middle of the table and help yourself

      Yep! Watch the scavengers fight over it!
      Opening the KJ definitely isn’t a concern from a losing heat perspective. The ceramics hold the heat for hours which is part of what makes it so efficient. You’d perhaps have noticed with yours that it takes a long while to cool down. That’s the ceramics holding the heat.
      The only concern with too much opening is firing up the coals and making it hotter. But no issue in this instance.
