As someone who's been playing alot of sombra I have to say, the feel of her being reliant on her team being decent or the enemy team being bad at dealing with sombra can be pretty rough. You, to some extent, flip a coin every time you join a game, to find out if you get to have fun in the game or if you get obliterated by 2-4 people while your team does nothing with the space you create by making so many people turn around to deal with you.

Honestly, sombra’s new skin is so nice, I’m almost willing to risk using her in comp. Only problem is I’m Plat 1 about to hit Diamond so I can’t afford the mistakes I’ll make with her 😂
I mean, you can always create an alt account for free to practice, if you feel anxious. Or just go "fuck it, we ball", there's enough time left in the season to climb back up /inhales copium/
you're taking ranked too seriously if you cant even have fun with a "new" character you're p1 not t500... no one is gonna punish you for not playing perfectly. Since you're already basically diamond you're good enough to know when to engage and when to get out. give it a shot you're probably better than you think
@@mainaccount888Ranked is almost all about taking it seriously. They have quick play for a reason. If you're going to screw around in comp, you ruin the matches for your team who wants a serious game. Don't be a douche, play seriously or don't play comp.
I’ve always had a problem playing dps where I play musical heroes since I always feel the need to swap. I hardly EVER played Sombra until this rework. Post rework, I’ve played about 70 games now without feeling any urge to swap at this point still, and I’m loving playing her now!
What if they make a support that can heal shields aswell or like make shields stronger like reinforced till they break again or after 15 seconds as an ult
@@Emmanuel-ig5iy yea like rein shield cause his shield just melts against most things and so instead of making them stronger why not make a character to help them so they can all be playable instead of just one tank dominating the other giving it more of an equal chance I guess idk it just sounds reasonable

I mean I think they just look at Fitzy’s channel. If his channel is getting views, they nerf Sombra. I say this as a joke but when sombra is out of meta his channel does a little less than average, but when Sombra gets buffed he gets 200k views per vod highlight for a week.
If they do any nerfing it will probably be for the virus damage or tick virus damage itself. Which wouldn't be nerfing her into the ground, but if they went nerfing anything else I think it would screw the character over.
Personally I would like her silence on hack to be a little shorter, like 1 or 1.25 seconds instead of 1.5, because with its shorter cast time it's really hard to react to an invisible sombra doing it and if you're playing something like Doomfist, you just get stuck in place and quickly melted with your low health, large hitbox, and no armor. Translocator could also maybe have a slightly longer cooldown, it just feels a little too flexible for how good it still is, especially compared to other DPS movement cooldowns.

If by 'other characters' you mean Bastion or Torb, then sure she's fair. But her damage, utility, mobility, and survivability are all quite high and, in my experience, pretty medium-effort rather than needing high skill. If they could tune back one or two of her abilities, perhaps the hack and translocator, then she might be balanced but her current state is just slightly overtuned.

Supports are still so strong. Best tanks are ones that just distract the dps so they never kill your supports.

As a Sombra main, it is much easier to kill dps than a support. In fact, there are some tanks I'd rather 1v1 than supports (looking at you, Kiriko)

the worse part about the update is they didnt change her ult max charge even tho she has an ability to charge it much much faster now
