Absolutely! I look forward to doing a few videos on the common problems crafters run into with Vinyl...I have had my share of problems, and I know others can learn from them and hopefully know how to avoid having those same issues on their projects.
I used the cotton setting with my home iron and put the garment on a wooden board do pillow or pad. Put parchment paper over the HTV and pressed as hard as I could for 15 sec. Peeled the transfer tape while hot and the decals stayed. Followed the directions from a guy at Siser and it worked!
Did it stay after washing? I just sent one out to a customer and used a home iron everything looked great, but after watching this video I’m scared it won’t look good after washing. 😭
@@cinthyacisneros4940 It stayed for about 3 washes and dries, then it peeled. I ended up removing it and redoing and used a EasyPress. So far it has held much better!
Can you suggest a heat setting for glitter iron using the easy press 2? Would you say the same tips in this video applies to glitter iron on as well? I had one letter fall off after one wash however it was a new Gilden shirt that wasn’t prewashed . I will do some future testing in regards to making sure I follow proper care by making sure my detergent is free of softener, and pre washing. I don’t want to sell a faulty item. I fell like glitter might need more pressure as well. Not sure if it’s a quality or color issue. I am using the Cricut brand glitter iron ons.
Hello and thank you for your comment. Cricut brand Glitter will have its own set of application instructions to follow then the Siser glitter or any other HTV brands, so you do want to make sure you are following the temperature guides for it...The cricut glitter recommends Preheating your garment 5 s to remove moisture and wrinkles, press at 330°F for 30 s with Light pressure. Then they recommend Flipping and pressing on the back side for 15 s and doing a Warm peel. Give this a try and see if it solves you problem.
Love how detail this video was, thank you!
you explain things so patiently, and in detail thank you!!
Thanks for this video! I've seen your advertisements on Facebook, so I decided to check out your RUclips channel!
Welcome! I am so happy you decided to come check us out!
Stretch is showed on the siser app to use 320 not 305 with firm not med.
Rochelle , I have my SISER HTV Reference chart with every HTV siser sells and mine says easy weed stretch is 305 firm 15
This is amazing information, even if I'm super bummed that the home iron failed! :(
Thank you you did great showing pressure settings
Hi - thanks for being so thorough - I have used Siser Easyweed, but haven't tried the stretch yet.
Great video! Just got a heat press. Such great tips.
Great explanation!!
Thanks for doing that for us :)

Can I use suggested settings for rayon, spandex or nylon?
Do you need a transfer pillow using a heat press?

thank you so much.... now my easy weed sticks better
How long do we pree for with cricut heat press
When do you check that the htv has stuck to the garment if you've just pressed it?
What vinyl do you recommend for shirts that are used in construction or outside. ?
I started using easyweed stretch
Excellent information!
Thank you for this info
How long were you pressing for?
Easyweed stretch is the worst htv ever, peels after wash everytime.
Get your pressure right and it won't peel after the wash!
Did you use a heat press?
@@brandypeay5350 I did yes
Thank you so much
What cut settings do you use on a Cricut?? I have tried multiple settings and it's not cutting evenly.
I use Custom - Sport Flex HTV setting with More pressure
I started using "Construction Paper" & it started cutting without issue
