- A Mans Land western movie starring Hoot Gibson and Marion Shilling. Released from the archives of the www.westernsontheweb.com collection of classic films. Tex Mason and Peggy Turner each inherit half of the Triple X Ranch. Tex is a cowboy and ranch hand and knows the ranching business. Peggy is an eastern girl and has her own ideas of what the ranch should become. This sets of for a bit of funny western antics and comedy. But there is also a villain who sees an opportunity to do some swindling. Released in 1932 this is a entertaining light hearted western feature. I have always liked Skeeter and Hoot. And others like Yakima, that were real cowboys before they went to movies.
Since I've counted myself, it makes a difference.

This is the same script as another western I saw recently. I think it was a Roy Rogers movie
59:10 I like old westerns, but it was silly that the rustler threw his gun away to go chase down Tex. 🤷🏿♂️
Thomas (boss of the villains) tried to frame Tex for cattle rustling; so pleased his plan did not work. I detest people who frame someone else for the crime they are doing, whether it's in a film or real life.
Was the typewriter invented by the time that the film scenario facts were supposedly enacted ???
I find it interesting what they found is attractive in women back in those days. Very narrow shoulders. Ultra petite and a face that resembled a bowling ball.
Of course most women were taller than Hoot Gibson so they had to have petite short women as co-stars.
Westerns got better and better over the years and so did the women in leading roles. Take Jane Russell for instance. What a beautiful and striking woman.
Of course this is just my opinion but I was right about the bowling ball, wasn't I.
About a young man and neighbor girl go to town for work, boy falls for a woman of the night. But he is naive
