I've seen Zakir Hussain in person and this guy is on that level. Both are godmen in my opinion. I like how the singer lights up at the end of the performance. :)

you have not heard Salar Khan play with pop/mast, so dont talk! Salar Khan is a classical tabla nawaaz, and he doesn't over promote himself to pop singers or other singers that dont have knowledge of music. and he isnt poke like others either, trying to get publicity! you cant assume something if you haven't heard it... Siar is a great tabla player, but he took it overboard showing his dance moves in Arash Howaida's video, he has no respect for his character, his music, his fans, etc. haha.
he is a good afghan tabla player, but he cant touch SALAR KHAN, www.salarnader.com! and when you goto india there are kids thats play like you've never seen!

someone who can keep up with Ustad Fati Ali khan, you gotta respect him....
he has a great passion and loves the challenge it seems. He is very young comparred to his collegues and reminds me alot of Ustad Tari Khan.
the video description says it all... he is if not THE best, but at least one of the best tabla players in the world...
