Actually they didn't have because you'd lose the "not" which means you completely miss the rhythm of the song. Just try instead of "No! We will not see your show." to sing "Yes! We will see your show." - it just doesn't fit. That's actually what is much more complicated when changing lyrics like Jack does - you have to also meet the rhythm with the words - which is less easy than it sounds.

As someone who got into Queen through Wayne’s world, it’s cool to see this song still alive and kicking in many different ways.
Have you seen Pentatonix do their cover of this song? If you haven't yet, I hope you do. They are an acapella group with a beatboxer, but the guitar solo is what usually gets everybody.

If you don't know Queen yet go to their channel and look for the original versions of their songs. They are amazing. Then go into the lore of Big Red and how it's a one in a kind guitar that can only be played in a certain way by the wonderful astrophycisist PHD Brian May. The wild and sad and incredibly oberwhelming life of Freddy Mercury and how he was also one of a kind as his genetics gave him a "defect" in his eyes that turned out to be the reason of the one in a billion voice he had. They are amazing, like, really amazing in many ways. They changed the world of music in many ways.

I saw this guy at a NJ ren fair and he was absolutely fantastic. The jokes, the songs, the performance, everything was a blast. I got the honor of holding a participating, he whipped a pencil or something similar that I held sticking out of my mouth. So glad to see him getting more recognition online!

very smart act, great change of the lyrics and then knew what the crowd would say which is the first time i've seen something like that. this guy could travel the world going to festivals and being street performer, entertaining thousands.
He knew what the audience would sing because they have people in the audience to guide the audience singing.
@@Dead_Goat Probably not. To have enough people to do that would take up seats for your show. My guess is that the assumption that people would sing “we will not see your show” comes from the theme that he’s been setting up. He set up that he’s going to change the lyrics but still continue and meld some lyrics. So when it comes time to sing that part, people meld together the lyric he gave “will you see my show” with the original lyric “we will not let you go” to create the lyric “we will not see your show.” It’s quiet clever actually and I think the audience’s unknowing setup for the joke is quite amusing.
