Wow! This is so rad. Been considering getting into modular for a bit now-this is such a great resource and inspiration for how powerful putting the right set of modules together can be. Thanks for posting :)))
This was so cool. I love to see what other people can come up with by using certain modules that I don't have. Always helps to get the creative juices flowing.
@@AttackRelease1 I actually found your video in my recommend. I've been trying to find more creators who explore modular synthesis and I think RUclips is just clueing in on that.
Your smooth and informative narration is so good man! Instant sub, the modular synth community can be really complex, I appreciate videos like this. Calm, steady, to the point. I'm off to go look at your other videos, keep up the great work!
Retail, over $2k, but the modular used market is huge. I probably paid closer to $1k for this. There’s less expensive options too (DIY module build kits is a route a lot of folks take).
You could build something way cheaper like using a marbles clone and say tip top reverb and get way more versatility out of a oscillator like the bastl pizza! You would also be left with a lot more space! I understand if you transferred these modules from a larger case though. I guess bargaining is not on the top of a lot of people’s list!
For sure! I have some clones, but got rid of some as I like working with the larger, original MI designs a little more. I am also pulling them from my large case where I have plenty of room - makes it a fun challenge building these small systems! :)
The idea of creating patches from a Tiny Synth is very educational and fun, thank you!
Glad you think so!

Thanks so much! Happy you found it helpful Harrison.
Wow, you’ve got some great ideas! Thanks for sharing!
Much appreciated - glad you enjoyed it.
Great video, and great patch! I love seeing videos of smaller, focused systems like this.
Thanks Zach! I’m definitely going to keep doing them. Easier to follow and helps me dial in learning my modules while I’m at it!
This was really enjoyable to watch. Nice mix of chill, great, straight-to-the-point instruction wtih really pretty ambient music. Instant sub :)

great video. i love how you build the patch from scratch.
Thanks! Appreciate the feedback; will be doing many more of these.
patching from scratch is so satisfying both for the musician and the listener IMO, completely agree from both sides of the table!
Instant sub. I think your smooth sounds and describing as you go is a great way to show off modular systems. Keep it up!
Thank you!
Wonderful video, thanks. Planning a small system here... this helps a lot, now I'm sure I need Marbles ;)
Glad you enjoyed it.
You definitely need Marbles. 😉

Nice. Prob only like 2500 dollars right? lol.
Give or take. There's cheaper ways into it like building your own modules, but I'm pretty bad at that. 😊
