I was a Lyft driver for a few years in Denver. I always go very good ratings and drove a lot and so I got tons of airport rides. So I've been on Pena Blvd to DIA maybe a few 100 times! I learned optimal way to take the exit from I-70 East. Tons of exists and on ramps right there - 225, Chambers I believe. So if you get over in right lanes too early you can get trapped and so stay 3 or 4 from right until less than a mile away. Traffic usually heavier than your drive here.
So, I understand that former U.S.A. Secretary of Transportation Federico Peña is highly revered in the State of Colorado. I will have to remember that.
@@rebauer2000 I found out that former popular Denver City, Colorado Mayor Federico Peña had graduated from Saint Joseph Academy; located in Brownsville, Cameron County, Texas [google.com; en.wikipedia.org] 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓. Furthermore, the Marist Roman Catholic administration officials at Saint Joseph Academy accept, admit, and serve students from nearby State of Tamaulipas, too [sja.us] 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏.
Blessings in an abundance of the faith. I salute you. 😘🙏Grace and peace be unto you and to this place. God bless you. 💫Thank you. Will you believe and receive Jesus Christ as your LORD and personal saviour??? I do. 💫
Have you heard of all the bizarre things about DIA? No airport in the US comes even remotely close to Denver Int'l when it comes to weirdness. Examples... Swastika shaped runway pattern Bizarre murals inside the terminals depicting apocalyptic messages. Strange gargoyles at baggage claim areas. Secret underground tunnels? (No evidence of this though) Near main terminal, there is a huge blue mustang statue named 'Blucifer' with creepy laser red eyes that supposedly 'watches over' the airport. (that actually killed the guy who sculpted it! No lie.. ) All in all, it's a pretty weird airport. But hey, it's Denver, the Mile High City where strange things happen! 😂
@@ace20016 I think since Pena is not a highway they don't get fed money so they are trying to get Adams county to help pay for it since their people use it the most but I could be wrong
Awesome seeing planes land and take off as you drive into the airport.

When I lived in Denver I heard that this was going to be designated I - 170
I’ve been on Peña
If you drive through there at night that blue horse statues eyes light up which is very freaky 👀
I'll have to check that out.
Can we agree that Limon has to be one of the worst control cites (Top 5 minimum) in the entire country?
I'm wondering what time and day this is. I seldom see the traffic that light.
Saturday around 6:00 pm
How do you enter a plane before
Where people can drop off car rental enter the airport?
Well, they had to do something with old, landlocked Stapleton Airport. Putting it way out there solves that.
I drove for Lyft for a while. That airport being way there was good for me!

Interesting. I'll have to look into that. I've actually never flown in or out of Denver.
you picked the best time to drive any later you'd be stuck in traffic
yep!
I heard
Why Pena Blvd have not been widen to at least 6 lanes? Lot of right of way along it.
