- In this part 2 video I give a closer look at how I was able to inflate my standup paddleboard with my 20v Dewalt inflator tool! Below are the products used or mentioned!

My best inflation routine:
Bauer 20v 0-160 psi inflator from Harbor Freight $49.99
Bauer 20v 5ah battery and fast charger. $100
Schrader valve. $7
1 minute on low side, switch to high pressure side with Schrader valve, will auto-stop @ 15psi (pre-set) in 7 minutes..
I can take additional batteries along, since my leafblower and pole saw use the same ones.
Currently the best system I've developed, thanks to this inflator, primarily.
Edit: Boards are all 11' 280l.
Thank you for sharing your process! That pump seems significantly faster!
Did you inflate through the shrader adapter the whole time?
Hand pump between 1-10 psi and top it off with the dewalt
Just don’t want Dewalt to see this video… considering they say you can’t use this pump for more than 10 consecutive minutes of pumping without a 20 min rest period 😂 you’ve just tripled their recommended time 😂
Haha. Pump still works great though! Perhaps Dewalt should consider me a product tester.. I’ll find the limits. Haha
I’m late to the party … but I use a similar pump .My system is high volume to shape board then about 10 minutes hand pump & then finish off with high pressure adapter to 14 psi . Whole process about 15/18 minutes . There is a sup pump that runs off car socket inflates in about 10 minutes , but it won’t inflate my cycle or suv tyres 😁.
The party never ends! Haha. Welcome!
Thanks for sharing the process. I’m glad you saw the point of the video.. to show how to do it with a tire pump. The dedicated ones are better, but if you have an inflator, here’s how to do it!
A maximum pressure of 160 psi will pump faster. Manually stop at 14 PSI. Test it.
Are you referring to using the high pressure/tire side? The problem with that side is it doesn’t have enough volume so it take a while
I think I can beat it with my hand pump🤣. 15 minutes max!
Haha, no doubt! Maybe I just like pressing buttons and walking away, haha 🤷♂️
New challenge, can you pump it up and make a sandwich at the same time? 🤣
@@SweetAdventures got me there🤣
I can do it faster with manual pump but easier with electric pump
What would I do without Amazon? Pumping is faster. If I have to inflate and deflate every time, that will be painful 😣 so looking for faster compressor..
Checkout on of our other videos with a dedicated sup pump. They go much faster!
Me and my wife use an electric cheap car pump does it in 10 minutes
This is ridiculous, I’d be out on the water 23 minutes sooner just doing it by hand. Yeah it’s tiring but this is lame.
Glad you found one that works!
What’s the name of the part to connect to the Dewalt
It is a SUP adapter! I believe the link should be in the description
Schrader valve
That is a ridiculous amount of time, you can get a dedicated inflator for isups for the same price that takes less than 10 minutes to inflate!
No doubt it’s slow! You’ll see in another video. I did review a dedicated inflator tool. Much faster!
Takes too long, Thanks for the test
Yea it’s not fast for sure
What version of the Dewalt pump are you using? Type 1 or Type 2? It should say on the rear safety label.
Mine is a type one. Do you know what the differences?
Thanks! Type 2 is the newer revision but unsure of the differences. There was a reddit thread where someone mentioned significantly improved performance but can’t find much else.
30 mins is ridiculous long . I think i will get the Outdoor World Shark 2
It is very long! Good choice on the pump
less than 10 minutes it's good, 10 minutes it's okay. More than 10 is useless....
Agreed! Unless you have other things to do in those 10+ minutes!
@@SweetAdventures its little bit loud, people around would not be happy
This is the same as using a DeWalt power drill instead of a hand-held kitchen mixer. I tried your method once and then got the "Shark 2" pump.
Haha, great point. We also enjoy the shark pump! Have the whale as well, it’s only benefit is that it has a battery inside and is cordless
