Inspiring. It sounds like there is no friction between what you hear in your mind and what you play. Direct communication from the soul to the fingers via exquisite technique.
When a wonderful interpretation, beautiful playing, and a magnificent song are united by a Rhodes Mark1 .. Bravo indeed! .. And congratulations/thank you for making it your own .. This song is is often recognized for being part of the famous Tony Bennett & Bill Evans album, from which keyboard players often quote .. It was so great to hear a totally "fresh" and innovative treatment .. Wonderful!
epistrophy99 he playin more rubato as in time kinda gets throw out the window but in a musical away the term is "Tempo Rubato" which is italian for stolen time
Just bought the Album "Chopin Visions" after seeing it there on top of the Rhodes, got it at Amazon, it is fantastic and inspiring. This guy is a real modern day, master artist, thank you Marcin!
Amigo, você consegue me fazer chorar, com tanto sentimento. Sou seu fã, parabéns pelo talento e bom gosto, e por nos abrilhantar com interpretações tão lindas. Grande abraço!!!
Omg two very nimble agile spiders, spinning a web of melody and awesomeness to trap us all. It sounds amazing and to watch you play was so mesmerising, it's just so natural to you. Years and years and years of dedication I know. Just amazing. Thank you xx❤
it's about time to ask, is your music digitally available somewhere? if not, you should seriously consider at least setting up a bandcamp account. I'm sure it'll sell like hotcakes.
Yeah most jazz albums have at least a few covers, and many are only covers. You just have to register so the original composer gets their portion of the royalties.
Right at 2:29 you do something - what is that? Stereo widening? It sounds so beautiful! I have listened to this a million times now, it gets better every loop.
Why is this kind of sparse solo music only on RUclips? The minute someone thinks to record a "real" album, they bring in a coked out drummer and a chorus line of electric guitars. It's hard to find mellow tracks like this on streaming services, unless it's labelled as a baby sleeping aid.

You don't have to get taught for this, but it definitely helps to understand the changes more. Listening to music and hours, let's say years, of playing also improves your impro skills. I, for example, started playing the piano after I've studied accordeon for 9 years. By no means I'm as good as the uploader (my left hand is worthless), but I do notice how much my impro has been improved over the years. Just by listening and playing. That's my tip :)

Indeed. It is what anyone who plays aspires to.. But I wonder how this all happens in a person's brain? And why only some brains?
@@andyharpist2938 I guess its not only practice. I don't believe I can be this good only with practice, its something else i guess
@@derscalismiyorumellemeyin1639 I think it's both practice and learning, just practice alone kinda keeps you in one spot after a while.

The nice thing about this vintage Rhodes is not only its mellow soft sound but that each note can sustain as long as the note is depressed.
One of my favorite songs and this is my favorite version. I keep coming back time and again. Thank you.
The bell-like sound and that never ending sustain.
The Mark I is definitely my favorite.
Мой самый любимый исполнитель. Как-то давно смотрел видео, а потом забыл. И вот теперь вспомнил, целенаправленно искал и нашел!!!

No bass, no drums, but the time is there! Beautiful arrangement. This musician has an ultimate understanding of music.
This guy is really great. He supplements the bass so beautifully with his left hand technique. Makes you forget it's just one instrument.

This is too good. So Bill-Evansy. Superb.
That piano hammer accessory is so darn cooooool!!!
A piano hammer key ring, a rhodes for jazz playing plus that "chopin vision" book? dude you 've got taste!
Look at the name on the book
Yes, nice touches there. I think that is actually CD disc of his trio.
Great and lovely interpretation, thanks a lot !

If you play deacon blues by steely dan on that rhodes, i can sort of die.
this is fucking insane... truly beautiful, I hope I can play an instrument this well one day...
What you do is just lovely. I really enjoy your work with the Fender Rhodes.
Beautiful. I love the tune & the instrument & your playing of it is great, i know it by Bill Evans.
it's very beautiful, and you're a great artist, I really like to hear and see you play, you're an inspiration to me, thank you for sharing your talent

Indeed, but he could still cover all the songs in fancy restaurants and such. Maybe there is a way to sell covers, but I would't know sadly.

I seriously could be siting next to a rhodes all day so bring me on some albums =)
yo if you play this at a restaurant I don't care what the food is like, I'll be eating there as much as I can
My table will be next to yours. The music is so good!
Now this i found my request:)))) superrrrr love it 3000

It is great art: never dull, sensitive, everything matches! Top!
What a beautiful rendition Sir!! 🙂👍🏼
How is it possible that this both but me to sleep and woke me up at that same time?
meu deus, toca muito bem!!
Oh my god! Play very well! Sim sim! Eu sei!😄🤣🤣

Wow. For a Mark 1 from '75 that thing looks brand fuckin new.

may i have a suggestion for you: the Long and winding road - paul mccartney .....
an interesting jazz cover, this would make. I say this because I have little idea of how you'd jazzify such a song...but I do love being surprised
" The same sun" Chris de Burgh. My suggestion to the next one. Please!
Nice with a bit of chorus and Phaser!
I love it! The version of On Green dolphin street is amazing!
Chopin is nice! Can we get some by your magnificent Rhodes?
I agree!
wonderfull!!
warm sound !
Nice!!

Sonido fantastisco

this is so sad and true
Alex Quinn you’re so right! I’ve always think of that 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thats why you need a record player, find a vinyl store and go back in time, to simpler times where music like this are more prevalent.
i think few people have an understanding of art as a construct in relation to the physical world. they all just layer instruments to make music

Do you use any pedals with your Rhodes? I've tried emulating this sound on my Nord Stage 3 and it's so dry to compared to the real thing.
man you sound like gold...
Lovely playing! What pedals/amp are you using? ❤
Mam takie samo pianino, jestem pod wrażeniem Twojej gry! Do czego podłączasz Rhodes'a? :)
yes., 1975 was a great year.
what are the specs of your rhodes? has it been restored? sounds awesome
These brought me to buy keyboard :)
I think you are so romantic!🍩😀
very nice!
Spectacular performance! What was the effects unit you switched on in the middle section?
You can hear a chorus effect first and a phaser unit after...
I can tell he has had some classical training he has excellent hand positioning... ☮️🔥
great composition ,
how did you learn how to jazz ? did you get a teacher or are you self taught
