How did you get your wheel working? I have a thrustmaster tmx and I haven't even been able to edit the json file to get it working. The best I've been able to do is get the brake pedal to work.
2:18, it'd be great to be on wheel. I want to be on wheel. Unfortunately, I am a PS4 gamer, and I don't game enough to justify a PC for it, so that means that there is only one option for a wheel, and my Thrustmaster T150 is NOT it, and I ain't gonna drop $250 extra on another wheel just to play right now. REALLY hoping that they add more wheel options for console before December.
Found another bug - Audio slowly fades out while in cockpit view. Spotter radio stays, but engine and ambient audio disappears about 3 minutes into gameplay for me. LMK if you guys have any similar experiences! P.S., This game is damn near unplayable at launch. Should never have released it. I'll give it some more time, but I DARE SAY that Heat 5 is better.
I've not played the game, but I was watching a video from Kneepit gaming and he was talking about the only sound he could hear from the cockpit view was the whine of the transmission and the spotter. That would be absolutely annoying. Especially when the spotter gets into his 3 2 3 3 3 rap.
The big 3 things that should be prioritized. Steering assist, cautions, and setups. I cant do stable, i need looser. Im ok with not having an in depth setup menu for the first game. It needs to be there for 22 though
He has to be putting positive headlines for his videos for this game purely as click bait. Because based on the titles of his videos one might think this was an actual serviceable game, which it's not. I agree with one of the comments below saying he's never seen someone trying so hard to polish a turd in reference to Radman blowing this game. Apparently you value being able drive into the infield of a track more than an actual good racing game. This game defines regression thus far.
You do realize they have the cars and their positioning behind you at the bottom of the screen, right? Nowhere NEAR ideal, but better than that crappy spotter…
It has a ton of potential! Foundation is definitely there. Force feedback works on the Logitech g29. Hopefully they get it fixed for other wheels. It’s a blast to drive with the wheel when it works properly
My game won’t even let me start a race or practice. It won’t let me look at the crew Chief or data. So I can’t even get the car on track. Anyone else have this problem?
The comments at the 24 minute mark are great to hear: "I'm not complaining. It is good, just hard." I really like that so will be fun to drive when I finally get the game. Still going to wait to see the larger bugs get ironed out, but have enjoyed what I have seen as an overall product once they get those figured out.
hmm let’s just say, some people can’t even get there wheel connected. No mirror, no track map, no fuel/tire indicator. And looks like they have such great detail in so many places but none of it seems to be finished.
I can’t drive in the game. In career mode when I get control of the car I go from full speed to 0 I like seconds. I’m spinning out 24/7. I don’t know if it’s the settings I have if they have to patch.
Have you ever played iRacing? It is quite normal to not be able to go 100% on the brakes in a stock car, especially when they are cold. You can in Formula Cars or an IndyCar with high downforce. Doesn't sound unrealistic to me.
Watch idk players nascar 21 launch day disaster. He is interviewing a game developer from project cars 2 and you will understand these bugs wont be fixed less than a year and the devs has known these issues for a long time.
I have a hard time taking half the stuff Austin says seriously. He's bitter and at times pessimistic. Right about one thing, wrong about another, and then just assuming things. Meanwhile, MSgames themselves stated patch 2 is pending, and they are working on patch 3. On their website is a huge list of issues being resolved.
There is a bit of steering latency for wheel, my wheel reactions are delayed, only heard of a few with the same problem, and there is little to no vibration when the car gets loose
The first bug that would need fix that I think is the most important is the cautions and black flags working the right way. Second not really a bug but no tire and fuel gauge.

they have to be able to add a mirror pretty easily. First, there is already a rear and side view mirror when you do the cockpit view (most videos anyways) and second RFactor 2 has triple mirrors added, so they should be able to do it.

How come when you make contact with another car the camera shake is fine, but on my version it shakes violently like I’m going through a 8.2 magnitude earthquake? lol.
I’ve seen reviews that say there was no support in the game for wheels. What wheel are you using? I’ve also seen reviews saying there is no interior mirror but then I’ve seen reviews with a mirror. Can you clarify?
I actually had a really good time racing here on controller. And I think it's good on champion difficulty. Lap traffic is a bit rough on the leaders, though. Just like in the Heat games.
You can’t change your brake in the Fanatec menu? That’s one thing I love about the Heusinkveld software. You can calibrate the force and set curves for all pedals on a per game basis.

My thing is stages. I like playing the season the way that it is in real life
No one likes nascar stage racing lol it’s dumb
@@0311Entertainment it needs work yes but better then seeing a champion at the half way point of the season
@@0311Entertainment also just turn it off if u don't like change 🤷♂️
rear view mirror and map of track and fuel gauge and tire wear indicators are a must
No track map, no tire squeal, no race stages, no private lobbies, no rear view mirror, no fuel gauge, no truck racing, no car setup, no seat adjustment, more bugs than my flea-bitten hound equals no fun.
I can’t even race, every time I go out on the track the car can’t go past 25mph and freaks out when you try to turn
The biggest bug I found was I didn't buy it
Next race can you use William Byron? Huge 24 fan since Jeff Gordon🙏🏾
Same
Same but I'm a old Jimmie fan
13:07 thats because ABS stands for anti-lock brake system
We NEED a mirror and I NEED force feedback on my controller. Agree with steering assist and cautions as well rad
*vibration. Force feedback is a wheel setting.
@@otacon1000 yes that. What you said !
The big 3 things that should be prioritized. Steering assist, cautions, and setups. I cant do stable, i need looser. Im ok with not having an in depth setup menu for the first game. It needs to be there for 22 though
Very accurate garage area. I've been going there since 2003.
Steering assist and cautions first. Then fix that speedrapping spotter XD
I think you can mute the spotter
I cant even race career mode. It freezes as soon as you start.
I either have a car that is driving on rain and uncontrollable or just pushes straight up to the wall. What am i doing wrong?
He has to be putting positive headlines for his videos for this game purely as click bait. Because based on the titles of his videos one might think this was an actual serviceable game, which it's not. I agree with one of the comments below saying he's never seen someone trying so hard to polish a turd in reference to Radman blowing this game. Apparently you value being able drive into the infield of a track more than an actual good racing game. This game defines regression thus far.
You do realize they have the cars and their positioning behind you at the bottom of the screen, right? Nowhere NEAR ideal, but better than that crappy spotter…
Every time I try to pass the start finish line my car shoots backwards at this track 😂
It has a ton of potential! Foundation is definitely there. Force feedback works on the Logitech g29. Hopefully they get it fixed for other wheels. It’s a blast to drive with the wheel when it works properly
Not good enough though, I still struggle to feel the car and find myself constantly crashing
We've been hearing "this has potential" for 10 years, screw potential, it's not acceptable.
My game won’t even let me start a race or practice. It won’t let me look at the crew Chief or data. So I can’t even get the car on track. Anyone else have this problem?
Yes it’s frustrating
Yo what system are you have not been able to run a single lap lol thanks for the vid
Steering Assists Cautions And Race Stages Are The 3 Most Important To Me Especially For Console @Real Radman
hmm let’s just say, some people can’t even get there wheel connected. No mirror, no track map, no fuel/tire indicator. And looks like they have such great detail in so many places but none of it seems to be finished.
I can’t drive in the game. In career mode when I get control of the car I go from full speed to 0 I like seconds. I’m spinning out 24/7. I don’t know if it’s the settings I have if they have to patch.
how do you have forcefeedback no matter what I have done it just doesn't work?
I usually coast off into the corner. Usually have faster lap times if I do that while not in traffic
@@jc1424 i was listening the interwieved guy on that video. Dont remember his name.
@@raimom3179 Austin Ogonoski. He races junk cars, does iRacing, worked on some games. Got bribed and screwed hard out of his job.
There is a bit of steering latency for wheel, my wheel reactions are delayed, only heard of a few with the same problem, and there is little to no vibration when the car gets loose
I want cautions to be fixed and a mirror and track map and ill be content
Hope they fix the shadows disappearing under the cars in turns 3 and 4.
The first bug that would need fix that I think is the most important is the cautions and black flags working the right way. Second not really a bug but no tire and fuel gauge.
Exactly I was so pissed when I got black flagged and didn’t even do anything to deserve a penalty.
@@clcbc97 I didnt buy it after seeing people play it. I'm not wasting my money on it even when they fix it. There isn't enough content for me to buy it. If I can't use my own ride in career mode it's a bust for me. It makes creating a car usless if u can only use them in race now. That's just my opinion.
@@paulilando2296 yep even if they fix the bugs and glitches it still doesn’t take away that the graphics are way too animated. The drivers and pit crews during the pre race ceremony look like animated cartoon characters this game looks more arcade than all of the heat games put together. Pretty much false advertising to tell us that this is a sim game. I’m more disappointed with the fact that this game looks very unrealistic to be called a sim racing game when it looks 100% arcade to me. The bugs and glitches can be fixed with a patch update but the animated graphics it has well that’s something we’re stuck with. Maybe someday a developer will develop a sim Nascar game that can compete with Iracing or even the old thunder games from 03 and 04
I returned mine, game was in development for two years, should not have all these problems, no excuses.
They need to add talladega banking in the corners of martinsville
I have never bought a game so incomplete ever they should be appalled for selling this game like this i hoped it would be all it was made out to be but race car drivers dont wont to drive a joystick so many bugges for the price we pay come on motorsports
Games like this make me so happy Halo Infinite got the necessary delay. Broken cautions, no force feedback? Come on now. Sitting at 1.5/5 on the Xbox store right now. That's really bad.
No mirrors, cautions are jacked, steering assist?? Absolutely unacceptable even for the low expectations of NASCAR console games.
Wish I could feel the “physics” through the controller (no force feedback)
the physics arent good... you can now drive THROUGH the track like how you can in roblox (you can even see underneath the track and everything) looks JUST like nascar on roblox :/ PLEASE GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!! I BEG YOU ALL IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR $60 RIGHT NOW WAIT A FEW MONTHS OR UNTIL NEXT YEAR!!!!
Wheel is even worse
@@legostopmotionguy13 yeah I tried it on both
they have to be able to add a mirror pretty easily. First, there is already a rear and side view mirror when you do the cockpit view (most videos anyways) and second RFactor 2 has triple mirrors added, so they should be able to do it.
I had the pleasure (or pain) of watching that AI lag at Talladega on Michigan Mrucz live last night. That's absolutely insane
So I have one problem, on Xbox or just for me idk, but when I hook up my Thrustmaster TMX it doesn’t show up in the list. It only shows a Logitech wheel that I can’t remember as I’m at work rn but like, is that for everyone? It makes the noise that I’m cyclimg through the options, but nothing changes. I need some help here setting my wheel up.
Guys if ur on controller, set steering assist to medium and it'll keep your car from turning to the left or right randomly in either turns or straights. Hope this helped
You should ask the dev's if they plan on adding TrackIR support. That is a total game changer.
Car slowed in the corners at Daytona during qualifying. Went from 200 mph to 150 in 2 secs
That was doing the same thing for me. Can’t even get a good qualifying position because the car looses power in qualifying
I don't like how the AI dont race the according paint schemes to the track. Theres practically no point in having a DLC if thats whats gonna happen.
Those two things also I don't like having to use controllers to use the menu and wheel to drive. Mirror, more time before race starts.
Did you get a patch today? I was wondering if I got the same build today as you have.
you did we all have the day 1 patch already.
My main is how about add more then 1 type of wheel for consoles. I won’t be playing it until then.
I've only gotten to do 5 laps at Talladega with a controller since I got it. UGH I am dying to play! Any wheel setting recommendations? I have the G35
Patch fixed coming in 2 days it better be fixed correctly and the next 2 soon will be fully assembled hopefully
That pacing thing at the start with two laps, I had this happen in rfactor2 today
I made it to race 3 in career and it just keeps freezing on me every time i got into the race. I thought it would be just Vegas so I simulated the race and it did the same thing at Phoenix. Then I just went into race now to see if I could just race and it just kept freezing.
They said that 3 patches r on the way.
AI is pretty real with having Bubba Wallace in the back
My G29 is so stiff when i’m on ignition while racing? Just me or??
How come when you make contact with another car the camera shake is fine, but on my version it shakes violently like I’m going through a 8.2 magnitude earthquake? lol.
I’ve seen reviews that say there was no support in the game for wheels. What wheel are you using? I’ve also seen reviews saying there is no interior mirror but then I’ve seen reviews with a mirror. Can you clarify?
I actually had a really good time racing here on controller. And I think it's good on champion difficulty. Lap traffic is a bit rough on the leaders, though. Just like in the Heat games.
After you Radman got excited from they being a Martinsville night race your face camera got a little excited too LOL
You can’t change your brake in the Fanatec menu? That’s one thing I love about the Heusinkveld software. You can calibrate the force and set curves for all pedals on a per game basis.
I can’t really play, due to the bug where the data pad won’t let me do anything
I have encountered the same bug. It looks like it is caused by controller conflicts. Did you try and switch to a wheel or pad while you had the game running?
Martinsville is tough even on rookie. Only made it to 25th until the all ai got stacked up in one of the turns and i drove to a win
