  • How do Iodometric Titrations work?
    1. Add a bunch of I-, which gets oxidized to I2.
    2. Add thiosulfate to reduce the I2 back to I-
    3. Add a little starch. If any I2 remains, the solution will be blue, because starch complexes with I3- (which is I2 + I- in solution).
