She temporarily left DIA activities because she auditioned for P101 before debuting and got into it after DIA debuted. Then she got in final 11 and ended up in IOI as well. She is doing her best to make it work. Honestly she should make DIA her top priority because IOI isn't permanent group.
Cathy and Chaeyeon signed up in pd101 before mbk debut them in dia so they had to leave temporarily to join the show. Now, since I.O.I will be promoting their subunit (where 3 other members chaeyeon won't participate) their company can do whatever to them, so she can promote with dia. But after IOI's sub-unit, there might be another comeback chaeyeon will participate and then they'll disband in 2017. After their disbandment, Chaeyeon will always be with dia. I hope this helps :)

I am very concerned about her health! So many schedules between DIA and i.O.I! I am not very happy for Chaeyeon. That woman needs rest too to recover.
