I wish everyone would resort to roller skating instead of being violent, hateful and killing each other. Show peace and unity by grabbing a pair of skates; bounce, rock, skate, roll!!! Love it!!
that would ruin the sport. there's no way to accurately quantify creativity. Plus the competition aspect would kill the spirit . Its perfect just the way it is .let everyone be the judge in their own way of whos really getting it done.

I love how the many shoots and branches that is black culture in America look so different from the cultural touchstones and cross pollination here in the UK ..many common themes, many different ...but so often expressed exuberantly and with life affirming joy

Memphis got them Vibes!! Im from Cookeville Tennessee got back into skating in my mid 20s with my daughter. Ended up getting a job being the floor guard, and that’s when the passion came back. So I started researching skating, and I found that there was a whole underground scene with adult skaters. I was fortune enough to cross paths with the Legend #TStacks . Didn’t know it at the time but I had one of the best mentors to ever lace up a set of 8s. So I want to say thank you to the skate Fam and big thanks to Stacks for helping me out!
Born and raised in Memphis. I remember going to Crystal Palace as a kid and watching in amazement all of the great skaters, especially the floor refs. Couldn’t skate a lick but had so much fun. Glad to see skating making a comeback.

I’m 19 in the navy, also I am white. I have had the opportunity to skate at different rinks near bass I am currently in va beach. I can skate as well been skating since I was 3 but I’m a bounce skater. I competed in South Carolina for a little as well. Anyways, it’s so interesting to see all the different styles because I find myself being repetitive sometimes. Love this inspiration!

Hi Tomeka, don't forget Dave's Skating that was on Third Street before you get I think its Western Park after the shopping center. They later made it a flee market. But it there for a long time. We still have several other places to roll. Skate Odyssey in Southaven and Oliver Branch, MS. East Skating off Mt. Mariah and a few others in Raleigh/Bartlett. Didn't we have some great memories at the Crystal Palace!!! I can hear Prince "When Doves Cry" and "Two Occasions" just thinking about it!!! Wherever you are in life, Tomeka be blessed and be a blessing!!!
